INTRODUCTION
Organizational behavior refers to a study of interaction of people within
the context of an organization. It is a field which makes an analysis on
how people interact within an organization and the various factors which
can put an influence on their behaviors. For this presentation, Takeda UK
Ltd. has been selected which is a pharmaceutical company located in
London, United Kingdom. In this presentation, detailed analysis will be
made on different issues related to organizational behavior in the case
study and the recommendations to solve these issues effectively without
any problems.

CASE SCENARIO
Susan Taylor has been working in Takeda UK Ltd. which is a
pharmaceutical company in London, United Kingdom. She has been
given the charge of Product Development Wing in the company which
involves research work for developing new medicines.
The issues which Susan is facing in her new department are that the
research workers do not like any kind of interference put in their work.
The research specialists though understand their work quite well but do
not fully understand the needs of production and marketing. Therefore
she needs to make them understand its value and resolve certain conflicts
which have been happening in the team.

FIRST OB ISSUE
Lack of understanding of other tasks- There seems to be a lack of
understanding among the members of research team which Susan is
heading because they do not understand the significance of other tasks
such as production, marketing etc. which are so important for a firm to
attain success.
Reasoning- The reason due to which this problem has been created is
mainly because the research workers do not take an interest in the other
activities in the company. They need to understand the significance
because only when they research on new medicines then only the
production can start and the marketing process can be conducted
smoothly without any issues.
