INTRODUCTION
Motivational techniques are used for boosting and encouraging employees for achieving
organization's goals and objectives. With the help of several tools and technique a company
could enhance their employee's performance.
TESCO is the largest multinational supermarket chain across United Kingdom. As more
and more competition has been raised in the marketplace, company has introduced new Jack
store at which they are rendering similar pricing as compared to their competitors Aldi and Lidl.
The above report includes motivational techniques which can be used by Jacks store for their
employee to motivate and encourage them so that they could effectively compete with its rivals.
MAIN BODY
Motivation plays a key role in the organizational success. The motivated employees are
always productive resource for company. Engaged and happy employee are invariably tended to
have profit and productivity for an organization. It is very crucial for manager to find what can
motivate their team and employee further. Increasing motivation in workplace is helpful for
enhancing employee's performance, raising morale and boosting productivity. Motivated
employees of TESCO will be productive for company's overall growth and development. Thus,
they could effectively compete with their rivals in marketplace. For this various motivational
techniques are used by them to boost up their employees. Some motivational technique are
described below that can be used by manager of motivating their employee for achieving
organizational goal and objectives (Ringen and et.al., 2018).
Incentive and bonus-
Incentive and Bonus to employee is the best motivation technique that can be used by
company. Employee of Jack store must be given incentives and bonus if they extraordinary
perform the task. This is helpful in encouraging and boosting employees for working towards
attaining organizational goal effectively. If employees of Jack store work positively they will
render their best and thus company could effectively compete with its rivals. If employees are
working extra ordinary then they should be recognized by company and must be rewarded for
that. By these employees get motivated and feel valued by their company. With regard to the
incentive and bonus employees will try more to work extraordinary and attain company's overall
objective and goal in the best way they can. Overall it is helpful for company to gain success in
the marketplace.
