Purpose
This is the business which has recognised about the potential benefits for addressing
the health of the workplace as well as the wellbeing which is required to be maintained within
the workplace. The business is functioning for around 5 years and the business has acquired a
good reputation considering the quality of the business and providing a good customer
service. The health programme that is happening within this workplace is taking place is
about stretching exercise which lasts for only 10 minutes at 3 pm within he office. There are
six employees, based in the office are experiencing a very stressful work condition because of
a very high volume of work. The age of the employees is ranging between 35 to 55 years
with a mix of both men and women. The six employees are classified in the category of
overweight and among them three of the employees are classified in the category of smokers.
Workplace Wellness Programmes
Some of the people, those are hardworking have prioritized the job over their health.
These are people, those skip lunches as well as stay late for getting the job done. These
people never get time to exercise as they prioritize their work.
The wellness is regarded as an active procedure for becoming aware about their
healthy choices. The wellness program is being regarded as any program, which is being
implemented by the employer for improving the health condition of the labour force.

Inclusion of wellness programs
Great activities are required to offer considering the quality program. The benefits as
well as the activities which are being included within the areas of the employee health are as
follows:
Fitness activities
The people, those are involved for sitting 40 long hours in a week within an office
seating are required for finding time to shift as well as for exercising. Major of the companies
are enough fortunate for bearing an on-site gym as well as fitness classes but sometimes these
facilities are not provided in some organisations. Thus, employees can be reimbursed
considering the purchases that are related to fitness as well as the employees are encouraged
for the creation of a group for after-work exercise (Towe et al., 2016). The other idea is for
utilising Fitbits or else some further technology for tracking the activities of the employees.
The most active people are required to be rewarded.
Smoking cessation programs
The team members, those are involved in smoking cigarettes have made costing over
the employees of making more money because of the health issues in comparison with the
non-smokers. Some of the hotels have regarded this within their major interest, considering
both economically as well as ethically by the delivery of smoking cessation programs to the
team members that is comprised of some lifestyle coaching and pharmacological assistance
towards the team members (Schulte et al., 2015).
General health benefits
The exercise is regarded to be better considering the immune system and helping the
employees for fighting back the illness. At the time of winter season, the employees can be

offered flu shots and will ensure about staying home of the employees, when they are
possessing a bug. This is also being regarded as a good idea for stocking the first aid kit
within the office and offering the staff a private room for wellness and the people are tend
towards the personal health requirements.
Stress release activities for mental health
The stresses are regarded as a silent killer which is responsible for triggering the
serious health related problems. This is the thing which passes along with the mental health
issues like the anxiety as well as the depression (Moen et al., 2016). The office is required to
institute a closing time, by which, it is required to be ensuring about the staffs for leaving
within that time at a reasonable hour. The employees are also required for taking time off
during incurring a certain amount of PTO days.
The office employers are required to offer employees with some physical activities
like the yoga classes as well as massages, where the people are offered with mindfulness
working.
Social activities
There are some of the employees, those have the preference for sweating as well as
blow-off stream individually which is regarded to be fine entirely. Moreover, still the
activities are required to be enjoyed by them, where the activities have involved in knowing
their colleagues in a better way. The social activities are required to be considered such as the
office book club, the game nights as well as the activities that is being enjoyed by the
employees. The smiling as well as the laughing is also being included are regarded as a
significant part of health.
