processes that would be needed should be able to address the existing captured processes. They would also ensure an efficient and proper design of modelling and thus improving the process of optimization. Modelling of Processes –This process would intake the design of process. The process of modelling would be able to introduce the different kinds of resources, incurred costs and several other constraintsxx. These kinds of scenarios would be able to determine the ways in which the different processes would operate in various other kinds of circumstancesxxi. The impact of process modelling would be able to model the different kinds of scenarios, which would be properly relevant to the factors within the businesses. Execution of Processes –The full form of business processes would primarily be defined in a certain kind of computer languagexxii. This would mainly be executed with the aid of computer in an automatic process or with the help of the various kinds of business rules that would require the help of the human input. Monitoring of Processes –This process within the BPM would be able to track the different kinds of individual processes within their statexxiii. The tracking of the individual processes would be easily seen and thus different kinds of statistics based on the performance could be measured and recordedxxiv. In this process, a Specialised Business Activity Monitoring software could be probably used for complementing the existing forms of BPM softwarexxv. Optimisation of Processes –The process of optimisation would be helpful for providing the cyclical and outgoing form of optimisation within the processes of BPMxxvi.Thiswouldincludetheretrievingofinformationbasedonthe
performances. This would also help in the identification of potential forms of ways in which the savings of costs would be incurredxxvii. They would then be apply the enhancements within the works of design of the processes. With the impact of this form of approach of BPM, the different business organizations would be able to deliver value from the process based assets. From the understandings of the impact of the BPM processes, it could be understood that change management could be understood as the primary part of the realisation of value based on the assets. 2.5 Concept of Change Management Change management would be defined as a systematic approach based on the dealing of the transformation of the goals of organization, technologies or processesxxviii. The primary purpose of change management would be based on the implementation of various kinds of strategies based on effecting of change, controlling of the process of changes and thus helping people to adapt accordingly to the processes of change.xxixThe different kinds of strategies would includeastructuredprocedurebasedonrequestingachange.Theywouldalsosupport mechanisms based on responding to different forms of requests and thus following them. The change management processes is one of the systematic processes that would be needed by the team of change management or the leader of the project. They would follow the activities and thus would apply the change in order to drive different forms of transitions based on ensuring that the project would be able to meet the intended outcomes. 2.6 Components of Change Management Therearedifferentkindsoffactorsthatwouldbeabletoinfluencethechange management approach, which would be based on the concerned business. There have been proper justification of each selected provided. 3.2 Research Philosophy Research philosophy is a concept of data gathering, used and analyzed. Collected data and information has been a phenomenon described by the research philosophy. Research philosophy has been of two types including positivism and interpretivism. Positivism philosophy deals with factual data and knowledge that has been gained by observation and measurement. Positivism has been depended on quantifiable observation leading to statistical analysis. It has been focused on the empirics view of the human experiencexlvi. It has been atomistic, ontological view for the world depending in the observation in a calculative view. However, positivism has been independent form of study that is different from human interests. It depends on the hypothetical approach ti the study. It depends in logic query of the researcher that involves proper scientific calculation in the study. On the other hand, interpretivism deals with the human interest in the study. Development in the interpretivism study has been always a critique to positivism studyxlvii. It has been associated with the philosophical action of idealism ad can be used with diverse approaches. There has ni factual observation based on calculation. In this philosophy, researcher acts as a social interpreter and finding differences in human approaches and observations.
Justification of selected philosophy This research has used positivism philosophy over interpretivism. The selection has been based on the requirements of the studyxlviii. Positivism philosophy has been depended on the scientific and factual approach to the data and information related to the study. Interpretivism has not been selected in the study as there is no factual observation in the research. It has been depended on the human approach to the concept of change management and BPM. Figure : Research Philosophy (Source: 3.3 Research Approach The research approach has been focusing on certain steps of collection data with wide assumptions. Research approach has been depending on various method that helps in assisting data collection and analysisxlix. Thus has been based on nature of the research problem.
