Solo Hiking
Doing Hike alone is very tough thing
specially when I do hike in very sharp
mountain like the Dolomites.
Sometimes I feel of weakness when I
am stacked in the ice or if I am lost
the right trail and failed to reach the
hikers refuge and I must spend the
night alone in the mountain.
Stability in case of weakness:
I have to decide which tool I need
carry, Which clothes I must carry, how
much food I have to carry, Which
contingency plan I will follow in case
the trail is blocked by ice or if I have
got serious issue.

Wind turbine project team consist of four engineers. On 19, Oct meeting was held in the university
between the team members to split the responsibility roles. The team decided the following:
I. Mohammed Alyafei - Team Leader: I was chosen for this position by all team members for
the following reasons:
Good Communicator: My ability to communicate with people at all levels and clear
communication about goals, responsibility, performance, expectations and feedback.
Ability to Delegate Tasks: gain trust in others through my actions.
Cool Under Pressure: I usually stay cool when problems arises and I try not to
reflecting any bad feeling among team members.
Problem Solving Skills: Share problems with the team to find solutions.
II. Mohammed Ali – Design Manager:
Strong Design Skills: Strong technical skills in sketching, 3D.
Project Management Skills: I have a good grasping of design process and project
scope to set realistic deadlines as per team capabilities.
Having a far-sighted Strategic Vision: Able to guide the design team towards a clear
goal.
III. Bander Al-Shammari– Research and Communication Manager:
An analytical mind: Able to take a step back and analyze the situation presented to
him.
Systematic: Ability to ensure that data is accurately presented and reported.
Knowledge of research design: Conduct research projects and evaluation studies.
IV. Hassan Al-Amaash- Quality Manager:
Implementing quality controls: Monitoring the ongoing performance and outputs of
the quality process.
Excellent communication skills: His ability to communicate information accurately.
Planning and project management skills: Setting up and maintaining controls and
documentation procedures
I think that the decisions I have taken to split the responsibility was correct since I am looking to
improve my leadership skills and I am working on this in this project as a leader. Mohammed Ali
showing great skills in designing and taking the responsibilities seriously. Bander Alshammari
showing good skills in researching and communication and I am sure that by the end of the first
stage of project he will be able to do his roles in excellent way. Hassan AlAmmash doing good as
quality manager since his character help him to argue in many cases to rectify a mistakes.
