2) Discuss the skills, roles and responsibilities of a home-based child-carer when leading and
managing your setting
The role and responsibilities of a child care setting is to provide education and effective life.
This help to understand the various process which is going while a development phase. Child
carer must focus on this and control unnecessary things which deviate path of child.
Decision making skill: In aspect with this the taking of child in every situation is essential to
understand. The child care worker must be act quickly and make proper advise to fix issue. In
addition to this, it is create and decision making power to generate necessary benefits.
Being patient: In my perception this is an essential approach where the child care worker have
patience in work. Because it is common factor when number of condition create hindrance and
patience have ability to tackle these situation. Try to develop an approach of active listening. By
making strategies which such a dictating the words and lines and child care must involves in
this.
Communication skill: They have appropriate of this to communicate and raise better

understanding. As per my thought just try to interact with other to make interaction which help
him to open and explore and the involvement of child and second body is involved to which
child communicate.
Monitoring skill: Have a vision to monitor child as per the various factor like their behaviours,
skill and attitude. We just try to make a convince move to focus on someone. This strategies
help to gain and active performance. This is by creating notify child to judging and mentioning
it. In this child carer must focus and try develop new move.
Being enthusiastic: They provide encourage children to complete the set action. We provide
task and work to finish in proper given time. This develop spirit and child and child carer must
take role in this.
Optimistic: They have potential to create positive environment. We juts focus on child
behaviour to make him positive attitude by making him task and goal oriented and child care
must taking part in it to develop an objective for life.
3) Explain how the home-based childcarer registers as:
Self-employed
An employer
Explain registering with HMRC as both self-employed and as an employer Explain the self-assessment process
Pre registration training: In this the childminder in England should contact to local authority
about process. In addition, the process include register name of child minder on the early years
register and compulsory and voluntary of the child registration. As per this CYPOP5 approve
the registering while contracting with local authority and then CYPOP5 approve CSSIW pre
registering course.
Registering as a childminder: Once training is finished then the child minder register with
Ofsted for England or CSSIW for Wales. While in all they used to contact with local authority
for more information.
Self employed: In this it is very important to HM revenue and customs HMRC which is well
known as soon as possible that individual is self employed otherwise penalties is taken.
Register fro self as HMRC which help to use information provide to create issue by unique
