INTRODUCTION
Communication skills plays a very important
role in the
business. Communication skills helps in
planning,
managing, organising, promoting and helps in
innovating various marketing skills also.
Through the

1.Communication models: There are majorly eight types
of communication models which has been described
into the following manner:
Aristotle’s Model: This is the oldest communication
model. The model was designed for the purpose of
examining the how to become a better and more
convincing communicator. Under this model, the five
elements of communication are very important. It
includes speaker, speech, occasion, target audience
and effect.

Shannon-Weaver Model: Under this model, it sees
communication occurs in key five parts: sender, encoder,
channel, decoder and receiver.
Berlo’s S-M-C-R Model: Under this model, it explains in the
four steps which includes Source, Message, Channel and
Receiver. The unique aspect about this model is that it gives
the detailed account of the key elements in each step that
will affect how well the message is communicated.
Osgood-Schramm Model: This model explores about how
communication has become equal and reciprocal in terms
of nature.
The Westley And Maclean Model: Under this model, it
embraces the importance of feedback in communication.
Barlund’s Transactional Model: This model explores about
the immediate-feedback communication and the
interpersonal aspect also.
Dance’s Helical Model: Under this model, the discussion
has been done on how messages can be improved over the
period of time by using feedback.

Communication systems also plays a very important role in the
businesses. Communication system are the various processes
which can be in the form of formal and informal through
which information has been conveyed between the managers
and employees within a business or between the business itself
and outsiders. (Carvalho, A., 2016). The major communication
system used in this process are telephone, mobile, computer.
The sources of this type of communication system has been
divided into two categories i.e. electric and non-electric.
2.Communication methods and technology in business: With the period
of time there are various methods have been come for the purpose of
communication and technology act as the important parameter into it.
(Antonenko, I. and Chizhova, N., 2018).There are different forms of
communication methods used by businesses. It includes verbal, non-
verbal, written, visual and electronic methods.

Verbal Communication: There are different forms of verbal
communication. It includes the in-person meetings, virtual
meetings, phone calls, verbal presentations, trainings
Non-Verbal Communication: It includes the facial expressions,
the tone and pitch of the voice, gestures and the physical
distance between the communicators.
Written communication: It can be done through the email,
message and other ways also.
There are some advantages of formal and informal
communication. It has been explained into the following
manner:
Advantages of formal communication: Formal communication
gives the chance of clear and reliable communication. It can be
available for future reference. This type of communication saves
time, feel less personal and management also stays in control.
Advantages of informal communication: Informal
communication is more flexible than the formal communication
because it is free from all types of formalities.

This type of communication has been passed into the
very fast
pace manner. In the business environment
technology plays a
very important role in different types of
communication. In
today’s period of time, internet is the big booster in
spreading
the communication into the effective manner. (Luka,

Having a goal: It is important to determine what exactly an individual
wants to do with the audience. It is important to find out that ideal
outcome at the initial and intentional craft the communication to reach
for that particular goal. This will make it much more effective in nature.
Listen: Its very important to listen to the audience because it will gives
the idea about what is in the trend that exactly audience want.
Adjust to your medium: Under this head, it is very important to decide
about the particular appealing format for reaching to the large number

the content and messaging is tailored for that medium.
