It consists of diverse factors that provide betteropportunities to business such as total quality control, quality standards, etc. In the present report, learning will focus on work culture of Toyota Motor Corporation in orderto understand the concept of strategic quality management. It will focus on various roles of operationsmanagement in an organization. It will also provide information regarding the importance of managingquality in operational activities of Toyota. It will also have a spot light on planning of various strategicchanges in context to the quality within organizational environment. Along with that, it will providelearning about effective implementation of strategic changes in the quality of work process.Furthermore, it will also assist in effective evaluation of various outcomes with regard to strategicquality change. Company is alsoconsidering low cost operations in order to meet the objective of enhancing its profit margin ratio(Hino, 2006). But, organization is not approaching effective aspects in order to develop the operationmanagement. In respect to this, it can be said that company is operating its business in auto mobile sectorsince traditional era in which market was attracted towards inferior products and high prices. But,when other Japanese business firms entered in the market, the whole market conditions have changedin a diverse manner (Mills, 2002). In addition to this, the operation management approach of otherJapanese firms are more effective as compared to Toyota as they were more focused towards varioustechnological tools and developments in this sector. Business organizations were considering leanmanufacturing process and time production approaches to meet the objectives in an effective manner.These kinds of strategies are beneficial to amend the production effectiveness and to reduce thewastage of diverse raw materials (Pardy, 2009). After sometime, business firm has developed Toyota Production System as per theconsideration of various approaches such as lean manufacturing process and time production. It hasreduced the wastage of raw materials in an effective manner and impacted business opportunitiespositively (D’Amico, 2009). Company has also considered Six Sigma methodology in order to boostthe productivity and to help the manufacturer in ensuring that production process has least number ofdefects.2.1 Importance of effective quality management in accomplishing organizational objectivesWith respect to this, it can be said that Toyota is considered as a leading Japanese auto mobilemanufacturer business firm in the world (Globalcarsbrands. 2014).
