Background for the dream Home Project:
The report aims in evaluating the process of Implementation of the lean project
management for building a dream house in Australia. The report discusses about the scenario
where a dream home needs to be constructed in Perth, western part of the Australia. After
having a check on the keystart initiative by the government of the Western Australia, it has
been found that the person is eligible for applying to the government for the project of the
dream home. This needs a formal submission of an application which needs to follow certain
criteria for the application. For the fulfillment of the application the applicant needs to
specify the certain areas that are required or the commencement for the project plan.
The report aims in identifying the suburb which is desired by the applicant for
building the home. The applicant also needs to decide the size of the land that is desired to be
bought by the owner and this will depend on the estimated budget by the owner. The report
researches on the current state of the market and tends to classify the builders based on the
region that has the potentiality to build the home within the range and the given time. This
also needs the involvement of the stakeholders so the identification of the stakeholders for the
project is also needed.
The leading lean project discusses the factors which will influence the design and
layout of the dream home. The report also identifies the process of the project management
for the factors. The project management strategies that are needed for the project has been
guided by the project management book of knowledge (PMBOK) as it proves to be most
effective solution in providing the techniques for the commencement of the project.

Choosing the Suburb for dream house:
For the construction of the dream home project, the first criteria that comes is the
selection pf the Suburb for the dream home. For the selection process a project management
process is needed to be selected. The project management process that has been followed is
the Project Management Book of knowledge (PMBOK) which has guided the project in all
the process starting from the selection of project to the selection of the builder for the project.
The practices that have been followed for the project are the evaluation of the project
scope where the objectives have been defined. The deliverables for the project are then
defined to evaluate what is going to be delivered after the completion of the project. This
follows more steps like the planning of the project, communication with the stakeholders,
auditing the defined process of the project. The process also includes the scope of change
management and risk management for the project. These practices are done soma s to gain
higher probability of getting success otherwise the project may face failure.
The project of developing the dream home follows some significant steps which are
important for the progress for the construction project. The first and foremost step that needs
to be considered is known as the choosing of the suburb for the dream home. It is essential to
decide and choose the suburbs where the project or the home will be done before thinking on
the size of the plot where the project or the home will be constructed. It is important to
choose the suburb where the home will be constructed as it is essential to focus on the point
that the home needs to be in a proper environment which is fit for the people to stay (Collins,
