INTRODUCTION
The consultancy project is determined as a task &work in which the researcher offer
knowledge & skill in order to achieve actual output in organization. It is defined by activity in
which different departments of workplace works that provides skills and intellectual absorption.
The main purpose of researcher is to estimate time& cost needed for accomplishing task. In this
report, Marriott International is taken into consideration. It is an American International
Organization which operate, franchise &lodging involving residential properties. Hospitality
industry deals with several atrocities as well as challenges. This is regarded to be one of the
biggest sector and all the existing ones and it deals with the economic as well as the competitive
atmosphere based on marketing purposes (Rhou and Singal, 2020). The revenue that is being
generated by hospitality industry is said to be one of the immense formulation in the entire
country and that is what is being analysed by various factors. In order to derive the obstacles and
to overcome them at all levels of time it is the duty of management in order to move ahead with
the strategic orientation and that will bring about the exact solution for existing problems. The
entire report is based on how far the hospitality industry is being able to cope up with the
circumstances in the existing challenging atmosphere and the strategies that are employed by the
organisation that is being chosen to stand in the midst of atrocities. It is hospitality sector that
provides different services to their customer by their accommodation. This company was
founded by J. William Marriott and Alice Marriott in year of 1927. The chain has many hotels
worldwide and 124 in the United Kingdom. In this report, there is a discussion regarding cause
and effect of different managerial challenge in hospitality sector that arise in their market sectors
which derives obstacles that faced by organization in their services of hospitality from different
driven sectors. Also, provide a discussion regarding a management theory under which defined
various approaches such as bureaucratic theory, behavioural, system management and
contingency models emphasizes on it. Furthermore, assess as well as interpret different kind
complexity &the effect of outcome in real life situation is also discussed in this project(Cross
and Sheffield, 2019). It will also justify all content in regard to Marriott International that offers
carious services related to rooms and many other that gives customer satisfaction in distinctive
aspects of business and aspects by driven results through decision-making procedure.

Managerial challenges are one of those entities in the organisation that will determine the
pace of the organisation. The management of the company is in such a way that will have to
move ahead with the speculations that our pertaining with respect to society and how far the
competition is being able to meet entire personification of the organisation. It is necessary that
for fostering a better organisational entity the management will have to understand the
challenges that are pertaining in the world. The hospitality sector is regarded to be one of the
finest component that will deal with a possibility of growth when every component is being
tackled in a better orientation. This gives rise to certain extra weight and measure that will have
to be adopted by the organisation and also to effectively maintain the strategic approach in
dealing with the customers as well as clients. Customers are the major aspects of the organisation
and everything will fall in regard to how far the organisation is maintaining the customer base.
Certain components will act as a barrier towards organisational performance and they will have
to be evaluated (Breier and et.al, 2021). One of the major challenge is to maintain consistency
and that is being fostered by the Marriott hotel at all levels and that made it one of the well
reputed organisation. Their culture that is maintained by the organisation also determine how far
the organisation is able to speculate changes. Main causes and effects that are in regard to an
organisational entity is said to be one of the demandable aspect with respect to employees as well
as the external factors that are impacting organisation. While dealing with an organisation it is
first necessary that the organisation will have to move ahead in facing the challenges with the
right amount of strategic orientation and only then it can be able to withstand the competitive
atmosphere. Few of the challenges as well as the effects that are a part of managerial actions in
the hospitality industry are discussed below that will bring a clear understanding about various
components. There are different kind of managerial challenges which is confronted by
management team of Marriott international such a change in labour condition, escalating
operating cost, effect of energy cost on travel of user and demand of hotel, hiring staffs and so on
in which several of them is given below:

Changing labour condition: the labour market is defined to be one of the structural
orientation in every organisation. This in regard to hospitality industry is said to be one of the
prominent criteria because the work prospects of the organisation are dealt by labour at all
instances. The role of labour although it is internally maintained at its place about a prominent
aspects with respect to all the sources of cleanliness and generating best atmosphere in the
organisation. The changing labour structure or the factors that are responsible for bringing about
a change in labour market is the also one of the biggest impact on the organisation where it is
responsible to change the growth of the organisation. When labour market is not flexible enough
the opportunities that are in regard to the resources that are being allocated in the company will
therefore fall rapidly that might severely impact organisational existence. This changing policy
will have to be endured by the organisation at all levels such that it gets to understand the direct
effects of its operation and the strategies that it will have to inculcate. the hospitality sector
confronts labour as well as human resource challenge that imposes direct effect on benefit of
organisation. Therefore it imposes direct effect on operations of hotel during particular phase of
time period. Due to change in condition of labour, it is necessary for company to alter its policies
that impose direct effect on smooth operations of company (Reguero, 2016). ). Due to covid-19,
the change in the labour condition imposes direct effect on operations of business organisation. If
due to this pandemic the wage rate of labour is determined as a higher than it increases cost for
company and this is determined as a major managerial challenge within hospitality sector.
Competition: regardless of any criteria competition is considered to be one of the
favourable entity that is pertaining in almost all the factors. In order to move ahead with the
profitable standards and a high quality measures it is necessary that this competition will have to
be taken into consideration and the prospects of operational entities will have to be derived in
such a way that meet the expectations of others in the competitive race. The hospitality industry
in this regard will have to ensure the fact that they stand with their means at all levels by being
perennial with all the decisions such that they can stand in the competitive race for over a long
run. There are various factors that will get to impact the structure of competition in the
organisational entity. This is one of the biggest impact as well as the effect that will stand as a
