It has been identified that, the industry plays a keyrole in sustainable development of UK economic system. Services and revenue of sector havedirect impact on GDP of organisations. The term "hospitality" has become accepted over theyears as a generic word, which describes the well being of services and facilities related totourists and travellers.There are different types of organisations present in the sector. However, hotels areessential section of this sector. Classification of hotels can be as business hotels, suite hotels,resort hotels, bed and breakfast hotels. Business hotels are more focused towards business groupwho visit destination for a business purpose. These kinds of hotels are more attracted towardsworld class services. Seven stars services are being provided by the firms to meet needs ofcustomers (Heung, 2013). Resort and suite hotels are attracted towards services that attracttravellers who visit to destination for specific purpose. For example, the person is looking foraccommodation for better stay and holidays experience then suite and resort will be optimisticoption for him. Bed and breakfast services are mostly considered as the budget services. It isreferred as firm which provides budget services for travellers so that basic needs can beaccomplished in an appropriate manner (Howat, 2011). Only breakfast and accommodation isbeing provided by the budget hotels. Tall and flat organisational structure both are refereed by organisations in hospitalitysector. It has been identified that the tall organisational structure is in mainly found in largeorganisations such as hotels. It is because it covers hierarchy of staff members to meet goals andobjectives. In addition to this, in flat structure, the direct communication with management ispossible (Mehmetoglu, 2014). It is mostly adopted by the restaurants. It helps in effectivemanagement of activities among manager and chef so that needs of customer can beaccomplished effectively. Hospitality organisations working is mainly categorised into front andback office. 2
