A clear scenario of UK tourism has been dealt with in this project. There are four distinct
parts in this report and each of them is giving the light on the variable factors and the changes
of the contemporary travel in the UK. The factors which have an effect on this industry in
respect of the global market have been discussed thoroughly. The people are fond of
travelling and the Travel industry can enrich them with the detail of it. Britain has become the
main attraction for its historical background for the travellers. There are different factors that
can influence on the Travel and Tourism in Britain. In this project, different contemporary
issues will be discussed to understand the complete knowledge

In Travel and Tourism industry GDP is a very important factor that measures the market
value and this industry helps in the development and flourishing of GDP. The people are fond
of travelling and the Travel industry can enrich them with the detail of it. Britain has become
the main attraction for its historical background for the travellers. There are different factors
that can influence on the Travel and Tourism in Britain. The spots of interest are getting
changed for the changing tastes of the visitors. The recent incidents are also influencing the
Travel and Tourism industry (Wachowiak, 2016). The whole GDP is getting flourished by
the GDP contributed by this industry.
E-Tourism: E-Tourism is driving the industry resulting in its rapid development and
endowment. With the swift progress of technology, the communication between the
customers and the companies has been improved a lot. ICT and World Wide Web are being
used and other technologies for better communication. Hotels a, transport and the other
components are at hand with the help of virtual communication through internet. The
packages, facilities, offers, and spots are easy to be advertised to a lot of people in few
seconds through the internet (Dickinson et al., 2014). The tour planners are also giving
advice by launching websites. Thus tourism is facilitated and popularized by the contribution
of E-commerce.
Social Media: Social media has also been an important platform for the advancement of
Travel and Tourism industry. It helps in making choices of the travellers and follows the
advices of the tour planner. In social networking sites like Facebook and Instagram the
people get to see the pictures of the travel spots and hotels, it creases their spirit to travel
(Telfer and Sharpley, 2015). The attractive advertisement and tour packages drive them to
travel and select the places. Even in the government tourism packages, social media is being
used hugely.
Transport System Development: Good transport system is one of the major factors in the
development of travel and tourism. If the transport system is not strong in the tourist spots
then the suffering of people can hinder the development its progress. The unavailability of the
vehicles can cause the suffering of the aged people (Hammam et al., 2014). The government
