INTRODUCTION
For getting successful in business ,company should manage their business activities
properly .If company will do so then it will not achieve the desired result. If company does
proper management of it's business then it is very beneficial for an organisation for making
policies or planning (Pinto, 2011). The project report is based on Posh Nosh Ltd ' corporate
Social Responsibility. Which deals in online food delivery and restaurants and it is carrying out
CSR activities. This report will analyse the aims and objectives of the project ,using of work
breakdown structure or Gantt chart that provides a time frame for completing project.
TASK 1
P1 aims and objectives of project for Posh Nosh Ltd.
This project report is based on CSR activities that is carried out by Posh Nosh Ltd. CSR
activities which means Corporate Social Responsibility that is carried out by Posh Nosh Ltd. It is
very important for an organisation because it gives more benefits to the company. In this
company gives a portion of profit to the society for their welfare (Polonsky and Waller, 2014) .
It is all about to give the benefits or positive effect to the societies as well as company. These
activities is helpful in taking the corporate decision and increase the value of the company. These
activities can include the following activities which are as follows-
 Woking as partner with local communities.
 By protecting the environment by planting.
 Maintain a good relationship with customers or employees etc.
Project aims and objectives – CSR activities has objective to manage the business activities
properly and supports the corporate decision. For doing the CSR activities , it has many aims and
objectives which are as follows -
 It main objective is to ensure that business is carried out the activities in a ethical manner
or not that means company is taking care of the environment or not.
 If company is doing CSR activities then it becomes the first choice of the government.
 It has aim to increase the goodwill of the company and market share of the company.
 It aims to maximize the value of stakeholders likes employees ,customers and
shareholders.

 The main objective of Posh Nosh company is to satisfied the customers and increase the
customer loyalty.
 It aims to decrease the cost and increases the efficiency and effectiveness of the company
(Parise and Casher, 2015).
 It aims to implement the project in that manner that it can be able to save the energy
supply and reduce the emission and be able to effective utilization of the water.
 It's objective is to save the environment from the pollution.
 It attracts the skilled and efficient employees towards the organisation and can attract the
customers.
 It's objective is to provide the safe working condition to the employees.
P2 project management plan that cover cost and time
In a project ,there are no. of people that contributes in achieving the specific goals and
objectives and here work is done under the guidance and supervision of any expert. It is known
as project management.
Project Management Plan – Following are the constraints that are very important for a project
which are as follows-
 Cost of project – For completing a project ,there occurs some cost that includes
resources ,labour cost , work package and influencing factors that creates cost variances.
By engaging in CSR activities ,cost of CSR activities can be analysed. In this cost will
includes cash flow after reduction of tax rebates. If company are doing the contribution
of the products then cost will be the amount of products (Ould and Ould, 2016).
 Time of project – For completing a project, there should be specified a time period in
which project should be completed. If there is no specified time period ,for achieving the
desired result will be difficult. Foe estimating the time ,company divides the big task into
sub task.
 Quality of the project – CSR activities should be done in that manner that can effect
positively to the societies or other associated person and that can be able to meet the
requirement of the customers and can be satisfied them.
 Communication – Communication is very important at every place. If company are
doing CSR activities then it should be conveyed to everyone like
customers ,employees ,government etc. Posh Nosh Ltd. Can communicate about CSR

activities through media ,organise event ,it's annual report ,speeches to the
workers ,customers etc.
 Risk- If Posh Nosh is doing CSR activities then it have to face many challenges or
problems. Risk can be lack of resources that is required in implementation of this
activities (Van Grembergen and Amelinckx, 2011).
 Scope – The main responsibility of CSR activities to provide higher return to the
investors and provide the information to them which is related to the business. It another
liability to provide the fair and adequate salary to the workers etc.
 Other resources – Other resources like human resource that are most important part in
implementation of this activities. It also includes government ,customers ,investors etc.
P3 Work breakdown structure and Gantt chart for providing time frames and completion stages
Work breakdown structure -
Work breakdown structure is used to managing the activities of the project in that manner
that can be easily managed. It is used when project is more complex and not manage easily. So
for completing the project ,project is divided into small parts so that it can be easily managed. It's
main objective is to remove complexity that is involved in the task. It is helpful in completing the
projects accurately and efficiently (Brown and Vessey, 2015). With the help of this , a manager
can easily evaluate and measure the activities and will be able to measure the activities

Gantt chart-
A Gantt chart is like a horizontal bar chart in which activities are shown in graphical
presentation. In this ,it shows the latest and finish time of the several elements likes resources ,
tasks ,dependencies etc (Fui-Hoon Nah, Lee-Shang Lau and Kuang, 2011). It is given by Henry
Gantt. It is used by Posh Nosh Ltd. For managing the project in an efficient and effective manner.
It helps in completing the project on time with in the budget and with efficiency and
effectiveness. It is the best way to show the activities with time period. Project scheduling of

On the basis of small scale research , research is conducted by taking 20 sample which
includes employees or customers both (George, Jones and Sharbrough, 2015) . In this
questionnaire is filled by the them. It is a quantitative research method. Questionnaire related to

Interpretation - In this survey ,quantitative method is used because it is helpful and easy
in comparing the data. In this company can know about the effectiveness of CSR activities and
helpful in taking the decision that will help in satisfying the customer needs. The questionnaire
that is filled by the customers or employees and interpretation of it are as follow -
1. First question is related to the tools that can be used while conducting CSR activities , 15
people says internal or external both tools should be used but 5 people says external tool
only.
2. Next question is related to benefit of CSR activities on the business then 13 people says it
will give benefit or 7 people says no benefit.
3. Next is related to implementation of CSR activities is liability of Posh Nosh Ltd then 17
people says no and 3 people says yes it is the responsibility.
4. Next is relate to link with international standards then 12 says yes or 8 says no.
5. Last question is related to responsibility in implementing CSR activity then 15 people
says HR department and 3 people says administration or rest of says leader is responsible.

P5 Analysis of research and data using tools and techniques
Research is the systematic investigate process that is helpful in collecting and gathering
the data which helps in increasing the knowledge by finding the new facts. Data or information
that is collected in the research is affects the objectives of the study (Bettencourt and et.al.,
2016). There can be two types of research-
1. Basic research -it is helpful in increasing the scientific knowledge.
2. Applied research – It is helpful in developing the new process ,products or services .
Data or information can be collected with the help of following methods which are as follows -

 Quantitative research method – In this method ,researcher mainly focus on the no.
rather than information. It is used to find out how much ,how many , how often ,or to
what extent. It is used to assess or measure the collected data and is very helpful in
comparing the collected data and also helpful in examining the relationship between
several events and occurrence (Hobday, 2017). In this researcher can collects data by
the following methods -
1. Interview
2. Questionnaire
3. Observation
4. Survey etc.
They explored the data statistically like Posh Nosh Ltd . Want to increase their market
share by 70 % in the world. They usually depend on the dependent and independent variables.
 Qualitative research method – In this ,researcher collects the theoretical data rather
than statistically data. It is also known field research because in this researcher
collects the information after going to the market . In this it collects the information
like market situation of the country ,customer behaviour ,taste and preferences of the
customers ,economy of the country etc (Brown and Vessey, 2015).
 Primary research – In this information is collected for the first time means that
information is new and no one know about it. In this data is collected from the
population ,market survey etc.
 Secondary research – In this data is collected from the newspaper ,bulletins ,internet
,magazines, government report ,past records etc (Fui-Hoon Nah, Lee-Shang Lau and
Kuang, 2011).
Posh Nosh with the help of this research method will be able to formulate and implement the
CSR activities effectively and efficiently.
P6 Appropriate recommendation because of research and data analysis
Corporate social responsibility is important if it want to successful in the market. If
company is following this activity then it is treated that company is doing their business ethically
and systematically. Currently many business are adopting this technique for earning the
reputation in the market. Posh Nosh has also adopted this technique. Company have some social
responsibility that have to do by the company . Several recommendation are as follows -

1. Social - Posh Nosh is working in the society and part of the society is also working in the
company .So it have responsibility to provide the benefit to the society. For this company
gives donation or charity or conduct many programmes so that it can improver the
standards of the society.
2. Employees – Employees are the most important person in conducting the CSR activities.
With the help of employees ,company gets success and desired result. So it is
recommendation the company that it should provide adequate remuneration to them.
3. Customers – customers is the most important for a company for achieving the desired
result. So it is recommended to the company that it should provide the products or
services to them according to their requirement so that they get satisfied and become loyal
customers or contribute in generating the profit.
4. Environment – Many environmental resources helps the company in the production
process .so company should take care of environment and should use those techniques in
the company that will prevent the pollution.

P7 reflect on the research value for meet the objectives
In the research , information or data is collected and investigated in a systematic manner
so that it can meet it's objective. Research is done on a specific topic or problems so that it can
reach on the conclusion and can find out the solution of the problems. It is helpful in increasing
the knowledge and skills by discovering the new facts that will help in the business activity
(Parise and Casher, 2015). It is helpful in accomplishing the desired result. It can be two types
that is basic research that helps in increasing the scientific knowledge and second is the applied
research that helps in solving the particular problems.
Now a days corporate Social Responsibility is becoming more popular in the world. Most
of the country have to do this activity if they are falling in criteria that is fixed by the
government. If any company is doing CSR activity the it is assumed that it is following the set
standards of practise and following all rules and regulation of the government and doing business
in the ethical manner (Ould and Ould, 2016). Posh Nosh is doing CSR activity that gives the
many benefit to it like it increases the competitiveness of the company , reputation in the
market ,market share and attracts the new customers towards the company 's products and

services. For the effective formulation of the strategy ,Posh Nosh is adopting best method of
research like quantitative method that helps the company in comparing the collected data (Van
Grembergen and Amelinckx, 2011).
CONCLUSION
CSR activity means to do welfare of the society by giving donation or charity to the
society. It is done for increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the company. From the above
report it is concluded that research can be done through qualitative and quantitative method.
Company should do proper project plan so that it can achieve it's objective. This plan helps in
estimating the time ,cost ,risk etc. With the help of research ,company can easily know what
should be done for getting the objectives and goals and at last this report is helpful in remaining
competitive and sustain in the market.
