I also carry the type of work experience that can help me in making eligible for the job vacancy. a sales representative needs to be fast and organised so that all the work at hand can be done in an efficient manner and the aims are achieved on time. I have the skills that allow me to work in an efficient manner with a number of team members as my team working skills are good. I have exhibited an efficient team working skills in many areas and have proved my ability of being a good coordinator among team members so that an objective can be achieved. In my career and as a student there have been many incidences where i have worked in a team so that common goals can be achieved. I have worked as a crew member in McDonald’s Restaurant Ltd wherein i was effectively able to coordinate with my team members so that the customers can be given their orders on time and with least possible errors. This helped me being so efficient in my job that i got promoted as a crew trainer within 9 months. As a crew trainer i was responsible in coordinating the roles of all the members so that they can carry out their work in an efficient manner. I used to work patiently and calmly with all the members so that they can share their problems while carrying out their work so that efficient solutions can be found that can help in managing their work and encouraging them to perform better. Also as a manager in McDonald’s Restaurant Ltd i have to work with a team of people so that i can effectively direct their work and establish coordination among them so that company goals can be efficiently achieved on time. 3)Time when you have identified a new approach to solve a problem? There have been many incidences where there occur a situation where the traditional method of solving problem cannot be applied and an innovative idea needs to be implemented so that the problem can be efficiently solved. While working in McDonald’s Restaurant Ltd as a crew trainer i faced problem of dealing with the various types of team members so that they can be efficiently trained. I dealt with this problem by applying on-the-job training in company so that the crew members can learn how to perform their job in an effective manner by seeing practically as to how the customer demands can be efficiently fulfilled. Also i developed a system of a counter machine wherein the customers can place their orders sequentially so that the crew members do not have to memorise each customer’s order that can help in making the delivery system of company highly effective. This also reduced the number of errors in delivering orders of customers thereby enhancing customer satisfaction so that they can continue to make purchases form McDonalds. Another problem which is faced while working as an accounting assistant in SC Contsat was that i was unable to perform the accounting of company in an efficient manner as the work was not well organised. So i used my ability of innovative thinking that helped me in installing an efficient system that was the best suitable for managing
accounts. I had to extensively research for this software so that the company objectives can be integrated with the results that are achieved by the software. This helped in making the work more easy and effective. 4)Time when various tasks had to be managed so that they can be completed within time? There have been many situations wherein i had to manage a variety of tasks so that they can be completed on time and in an efficient manner. I am by nature a very organised person and like to do all my work in accordance with deadlines so that the efficiency of results can be improved and work can be completed on time. As an accounting assistant i had to coordinate various tasks all at once like organising accounting documents, maintaining a daily basis cash register, noting the entry of every sale and purchase done in company, managing customers etc. All these tasks had to be done efficiently and on time. I used to allocate appropriate time to each of the task in accordance with their priority so that they can be completed on a daily basis. Also while working at McDonald’s Restaurant Ltd i had to multi task most of the times so that all the work can be efficiently completed on time and high customer satisfaction can be achieved. This also helped in getting career promotions and getting opportunities that helped in my personal and professional development. 5)Time when others had to be persuaded to accept your view point? While as a student and as an employee i had to face various situations where i have to persuade others to accept my point of view for completion of work. While working as an accounting assistant i had to convince the managers of company on using an innovative solution in maintaining the accounts of company that helped me in getting a system installed in computers of company so that the accounts of company can be effectively maintained. Also while working as a crew trainer i had to persuade the team members in working in a particular direction so that the company objectives can be achieved in an efficient manner. Also as a manager in company i have to persuade all the other members of company to perform the roles and responsibilities allotted to them in a particular manner so that effective results can be achieved on time. INTERVIEW PRACTICE While i was in college my class was asked to attend a seminar that will help us in developing efficient skills that can help us in getting through the interviews and getting jobs in
the desired company and at a desired post. From the practice i learnt the following things that helped me in getting jobs in the companies i have applied for: It is important that the applicants carry all their CV and academic documents while going for an interview as the first thing which is asked by the interviewer is the candidate’s CV. This helps the interviewer in getting an overview about the candidate which indicates their suitability for job. It is important that the candidate gets well dressed and has a body posture that gives a professional and seriousness in their behaviour related to the job and the company. It is important that the candidates give answers to all the questions that are asked in interview with full confidence and truthfully. It is important that the candidate reach at the venue on time which will show their seriousness and sincerity towards the job. ASSESSMENT CENTRE PRACTICE While in college our class was asked to attend a seminar that can help us in behaving appropriately during the interview while applying for a job in a company. This seminar helped us in gaining knowledge about various important points that can help in our development and also in getting selected in our desired firms. Following are the things that i learnt: It is important that i remain confident, positive and motivated through the interview process so that i can answer questions in an effective manner. Itisalsoimportantthatiuseanaccommodativeandinstinctiveapproachwhile answering the questions so that the task at hand can be completed efficiently and on time.
