Project Summary
This study seeks to investigate the threats and challenges which are faced by the people when
there is open data that supports government transparency. This open data provides a threat to
people’s privacy and their human rights. It is aimed to be conducted by taking the sample size of
20 people who are aged 18 years and above and live in the United Kingdom. The analysis of this
study shall be done by 2 people and its result shall be published in the local newspaper and peer-
reviewed journals. Through this study, it shall be analyzed how open data is aimed to threaten
the human rights and privacy of people.
This study shall be conducted by both primary and secondary data collection by using
questionnaires and interviews in the primary research and literature review by books and journals
in the secondary research. These two types of research will help in gathering both qualitative and
quantitative data so that valid outcomes can be drawn from the findings.
