INTRODUCTION
Information or data is useful for an organisation in order to understand requirements of
customer, develop strategies, improve performance, gain knowledge about activities, enhance
productivity and so on. Business process is defined as a collection of linked activities which find
their end in the delivery of a product or service to customer. In addition to this, it is also referred
as a set of task and activities that will attain objectives of an organisation (Aguirre and
Rodriguez, 2017). For the present report, ESTIMUS LTD is taken into consideration. It is an
upscale furniture design company which was established in year 2017 and located in England,
UK. The company is producing sophisticated, impeccable custom design furniture, doors and
windows in UK. The report will cover business procedure of respective organisation and the
inputs and outputs required in it. In addition to this, there is a discussion about databases required
to be stored in order to support information systems. Moreover, opportunities for intelligent tools
as well as systems to be employed for chosen business process is elaborated in the report.

1.1 Illustration of selected business procedure in a flow chart, identify main activities &
sequence of them
ESTIMUS provide customised furniture, doors and windows service with an objective to
fulfil the requirement of its customers. In addition to this, customising is the process of letting
customers decide the design, colours as per their requirements. ESTIMUS is a upscale furniture
design company whose main objective is to provide satisfactory service and to gain large market
share. The flow chart of the overall procedure of ESTIMUS is given below:

The above flow chart state that there are different activities from starting to end where the
customised furniture is provided to customer as per their requirements. In the starting, customer
walk in the premises and share its requirements and according design is provided to them (Al-
Emran and et. al., 2018). After this, the colour, textures, size is choose by customer and
accordingly an imaginary sketch is developed by company and provide it to customer. After the
permission of customer purchase order then it is informed to as sales order and the process is
start to develop it. The time and date is provided to customer to receive order and in between
