Task 1: Knowledge Questions
Question 1 Discuss two (2) models of critical and creative thinking.
Answer: Critical thinking: Critical thinking is known as the vital concept of educational goal as
it is defined as the careful thinking which is directed towards the goals an critical thinker has the
capabilities and abilities of thinking appropriately and critically whenever it is needed.
Bloom’s Taxonomy model
This model is known as cross disciplinary model which involves in critical thinking and it
involves six critical skills that are knowledge which is remembering of previous learned facts,
trends, techniques, classification and principles. Next segment which is involved in this model is
comprehension that is a process of understanding the material and paraphrasing into summarized
form. Next is application which involves the information in concreating the problems and getting
best answers which effective reports and projects(Rasis, 2021, March).
. Next is analysis that is a method of breaking down of an information into different segments
which makes easier in the time of exams. Next segment which is involved in critical thinking is
synthesis that is a process of applying the learnt knowledge and skills in an appropriate form
while communicating and rearranging the matter. Last segment which is taken into consideration
is evaluation this is a process of judging the material on the basis of personal opinions and by
judging it by comparing and justifying it in an appropriate form.
Beyer’s evaluative critical model
This model of critical thinking involves various elements which is required for complex and
simultaneous interaction that involves dispositions that is a process of developing the mind which
can easily sustain critical thinking with skelticm, open-mindedness and with respect for all the
evidence. Next element is criterial that is known as the ability to construct an appropriate
benchmark to judge. Next comes an argument which involves supporting evidence to the matter
while evaluating and identifying strength(Caus, 2019). Next segment is reasoning which is known
as the validity to hold in an argument then comes point of view the critical thinkers present their
point of view for the better evaluation of issue lastly come the procedure of judging that is known
as the judgement which is made in order to make a report.
Creative thinking: It is process of thinking something unique and innovative in order to sustain
a certain goal and objective.
Affinity diagrams model
As this is a model which helps in reducing the load as in an session an lot of information is
gathered and it is important categorize it in an effective form. Then this diagram helps in dividing
the information into patterns which is easier in order to learn and remember the matter.
Brainstorming model
It is a model in which people presents the creative ideas in from of everyone in order to diverse
their skills and experience. This model helps a student or think innovative and creative so that
they can make a new form of matter.

Answer: Analysis: It is a process of breaking down the matter into an smaller and shorter form as
it becomes easier to understand the matter appropriately into an smaller parts. As this helps in
critical thinking as student separates the matter by understanding it due to which brainstorming is
done in each segment and then examining each step as a separate and check its feasibly(Jameson,
2019).
Synthesis: This is known as the challenging and a complex process which combines various
sources from the theories and patterns which helps in developing the understanding of a student.
This process requires a mind full of approaches which identifies and links in between the sources.
In this outcome will be more cogent and always comes with an new and innovative idea.
Evaluation: It is process of making an appropriate judgement about the value of something as it
is basically an conclusion based on the matter which is evaluates from the information is analysed
and gathered before. It is known as a easy process as it is just the evaluation of the academic
identification and it all gives an matter a creative form.
Question 3 Discuss three (3) existing workplace objectives, processes and resources of ihBC
Campus relating to improving employees’ critical thinking skills.
Answer: 1. It encourages the employees to express their opinions which improves the critical
thinking and also befits in decision making.
2. Being a problem solver helps in solving the issues and challenges which is faced by the
organization and in an team and it also resolves reoccurring of problems.
3. As organization is investing in training and development which is developing the skills of
employees.
Question 4 Describe three (3) characteristics of organisational learning environments and
related learning systems.
Answer: System thinking: This is known as the idea of learning an organization body work, this
is a framework which make the people study about the business objectives. It also measures the
overall performance and also involved components. This is known as the discipline which

integrates the employees of business by fusing them into practices and theories.
Personal mastery: It is known as the discipline which deepens and clarifies an individual’s
vision and also involves developing patience and make employees focuses on the energies so that
employees can use there induvial learning for organization benefits(Kondratavičiėnė, 2021).
Mental models: This is a process of generalizing and creating assumptions about the
organization and individuals. In order to develop the productivity level in an organization then
this model is required to develop new skills and orientation.
Question 5 Discuss two (2) legislative requirements relating to workplace procedures.
Answer: Anti bullying policy: This is an important legislation which is required in the workforce
which prevents the employees from bullying or any incident related to that.
Safety of employees: This is a policy which involves the job security and individual security of
employees which improves the working environment of an organization and also gives job
satisfaction to employees.
Question 6 List and describe two (2) sources of reliable information relevant to workplace
procedures.
Answer: Making better decisions: This is a major source which is used in workplace as this is
also considered as the strategy which helps in the enhancing the economy and growth in the
industry(Selviana, and Sunarno, 2022).
Fill knowledge gaps: It is considered as the internal source of workplace as it involves
individuals training, experience and knowledge and this helps in facing the threats and also in
grabbing the opportunities.

Question 7 Describe three (3) features of industry best practice approach to instruction on
critical and creative thinking methods.
Answer: 1. It is important to learning new thing every day in order to form a valuable connection
in between mind and creative thinking.
2. By wasting no time and utilizing in a sustainable work which can help an individual in a long
run and can also increase the capability of an individual to form anything in an new and
innovative form(Paul, and Elder, 2019).
3. By practicing active listening is considered as the best practice approach which helps in
activating a mind and making a new and innovative ideas by creative and critical thinking.
Question 8 Give three (3) strategies on how to lead a team and individuals to develop
critical and creative thinking skills.
Answer: 1. Defining the values accordingly as it is important for critical thinking to process any
work according to the values and learnings.
2. Making changes by itself can help in critical thinking as it is important to reshape and develop
individual trait into both long term and short-term goals(Yustina, Syafii, and Vebrianto, 2020).
3. By keeping a journal helps in recording the each and every procedure so that it makes easy for
an individual to evaluate and plan further things accordingly.
