INTRODUCTION
With increase in customers disposable income and technology development travel and
tourism industry has tremendously grow in external environment. People likes to visit different
places, destination or attend Global events in order to have fun and enjoyment. There are
numerous factors that contributed in development of events both at global and local level. This
report is based on study of examination of diversity of global event industry, its structure and key
factors that contribute in shaping event industry. It has also included information related to
management strategies that has supported development of responsible tourism.

Diversity of global event industry, its structure and its organised, together with place of different
types of events within society
Global events are events that are held at large scale with lot of audiences and Global
events can be easily classified on basis of several factors such as major events, hallmark , mega
events and local community (Sirunyan and et.al , 2017). Therefore, diversity of global event
industry, its structure, its organised can be explained as follows:
Mega events: These are one- time sports events that are organised at international scale by some
special authority thereby have extreme level of media coverage. It has great impact on economic,
infrastructure and tourism and several others factors due to its importance and large size.
Furthermore, it can be that there are several parallel activities like cultural events or festival.
Hallmark events: These are events that become so identified with spirit of town that lead
synonymous with name of place thus they have widespread awareness and recognition (Maqsood
and et.al, 2020). Thus, it can be stated that it is mainly designed in order to increase the appeal of
specific tourism destination or region so that more and more tourist can come from different
places to have fun and enjoyment.
Community event: It has limited scope as host of events and festivals are organised in order to
target local audience for their fun and entertainment value. Thereby community event has helped
in enhancing pride of community, creating a place of belongingness and entertainment value.
Factors that influenced development of event industry
There are numerous factors that impact on development of event industry like like exiting
taste and preferences of people, trends in external environment, disposable income and
