INTRODUCTION
The transferable skills that an individual needs which make them employable are referred as
the employability skills. There are several skills that the employers want from the employees
like the communication, problem, motivated and initiative taking along with the working under
pressure and deadline. The people working in the health and social care department need some
employability skills for getting effective employment. The understanding of the professional
skills, interpersonal skills, transferable skills along with the leadership and communication skills
are represented in this report. Good technical knowledge along with these skills set is required
by the employees required to carry out their job role effectively.
This assignment is based on the understanding and developing the own personalities. The
everyday working requirement like the problem-solving skills which includes the identification
and specification of the problem and then make strategies to resolve them through reflective
practices.

TASK 1- SELF-APPRAISAL FORM
This section of the assignment is based on the setting up the own responsibilities, and
performance objectives. While working in the health and social care department the first
performance appraisal form has been developed. The effectiveness against the defined
objectives is being evaluated. The areas of improvement are being identified; the review of the
motivational techniques to improve the quality of performance is done in this appraisal form.
Lastly, the role of the effective communication at the various levels is being highlighted. ]
