INTRODUCTIONFor the success as well as growth of organisation in competitive business market, it isessential to have effective team and group at work place so that company would perform theirtasks and activities in a systematic manner to achieve their goals and objectives. Individuals andteam play a crucial role within company (Zepeda, 2012). Therefore, it is the responsibility ofmanager to provide them appropriate training or development session to enhance their skills andabilities. With the help of training, they can execute their tasks in a well-planned manner to getbetter results and output. This project is based on development of individuals as well as teamalong with their role in Tesco organisation . Apart from this, it will discuss various professionalknowledge, behaviour and skills which are required by HR officer in Tesco. Also, Highperformance management and different kinds of performance management approaches used byenterprise to work effectively and efficiently will be studied as well. SECTION 1P1. Appropriate behaviour, knowledge and skills required by HR professionalsIt is important that human resource department to perform in a proper manner for thesuccess and development of business as they are one of the major functions a company performs.They fulfil various kind of rules and responsibilities which include recruitment, selection,training, interview, negotiation in salary and many more. On the other hand, it is also essentialthat all HR professionals have some skills and knowledge to handle issues or problems withinfirm to maintain stability in market place. HR professional required various skills and qualities tomanage and control all work in the organisation. Some of them are as follow: Multitasking: HR manager should adopts thought of internal transfer to enhanceemployee's skills, knowledge and abilities at work place so that they can work in more effectiveway. In this, employees gain knowledge related to various departments so that they can performtasks easily. Employees have to involve themselves in all operational activities and tasks of theorganisation such as complying government formalities regarding their work. Individuals whoare the part of HR department have to work on their behaviour to increase skills and knowledgeto handle any pressure or problem (Van Driel and Berry, 2012). Nowadays, it is important thatevery person should have knowledge of IT so that they can learn to use any new software withinorganisation which makes their work easy and comfortable. 1
