INTRODUCTIONIn current time, every organisation seeks to be enhance their profitability and productivitylevel as well as wants to set a brand image in market. Moreover, there will be conduct a personal skill audit as well as an effective developmentplan will be produced for the selected company. Apart from this, will be effectively define HPWadditionally different type of performance management approaches in a effective and efficientway (Marquardt and et. al., 2011). SECTION 1a). Explain professional knowledge, skills and behaviours required by HRHuman resource manager of any company plays important role because it assist tomanage and control all over business activities as well as all employees of the organisation.Therefore it is necessary be have some effective quality, skills, capabilities and knowledge.Further, if HR seeks to be enhance employees working performance and quality so that can beused CPD (Continuing professional development) method within the organisation. Generally, itcan be consider as a process because in which systematically identify and determine the actualskills, experience level and knowledge of them (Bolman and Deal, 2017). Employees workingperformance and quality important for every company because their profitability andproductivity are depends on them. Apart from this there are explaining actual benefits ofdeveloping individual, teams and organisation such as follows: CPD helps to increasing and managing the skills, capabilities and knowledge ofemployees so that they will effectively perform their operations in effective and efficientmanner. 1

With the help of CPD employees can significantly attract high number of customerstowards organisation as well as their services. With the help of this method Sainsbury can creates appropriate workplace within theorganisation so that employees of the company will get proper satisfaction towards theirjob (Salas and et. al., 2012). This helps to an individual person so that it can get new position within the company.Due to this they can manage, control, monitor, train to all over staff members forachieving their goals and objectives in a systematic style.It will helpful for getting and enhancing confidence and motivation level for attainingtargets and aims in a effective and efficient style. As a HR manager in Sainsbury wants to develop and create a effective team of personsfor achieving a common goal thus it is necessary to be have skills, capabilities, knowledge sothat they can effectively complete their works. For developing effectiveness as well as creatinghealthy environment within the organisation so that it is required to be implement appropriatepolices, strategies and plan in company by HR managers. Knowledge By HR: HR managers must be try to understand their functions and strategies then adopt inworking system for completing the tasks in appropriate manner (Obiwuru and et. al., 2011). HRmanager of the company will recruit the experience persons within the organisation also whohave knowledge, skills and capabilities. In the recruiting process included several methods andactivities such as person specification, job description, filling application form, shortlist,interview, selection, hiring and appointment. Some of the points are here which shows theknowledge needed by HR:Knowledge of legal terms about recruitments, salary to work according to legalformalities of the constitution.HR managers has to perform according to the principles of the management so they haveto knowledge of these.HR manager has to do mathematical calculations about salary and leaves of theemployees so they have to strong grip in the maths.
