Introduction
The success of business industries is the way of developing the economic condition of the
country. If the organisations are able to run their business effectively, they can uplift the
financial status of the venture. In order to earn success, the performance of employees is an
important factor. If the employees can perform appropriately, they are able to hold their position
in the contemporary merchandise market. Sharing ideas and collaborative working are the
strategies for earning success in the competitive era. In order to study the topic, the case scenario
of Whirlpool has been taken. It is known to all that, in order to run the business, development of
personal skills like learning, communication and so on is necessary. Therefore, the study will
provide the importance of employee behaviours, skills and knowledge for holding the position of
HR. It will also evaluate skills of employees for earning success in the contemporary competitive
market. In order to analyse the study, learning theory and theory of employee performance will
be negotiated in the effective way throughout the study.

As mentioned by Chen et al. (2014, p.800), the HR (Human resource professional) of the
organisations represents the venture to other enterprises in the contemporary era. Hence, the
professional of HR needs to have enormous knowledge on present affair as they can easily
interact in time of representing their company to others.
Appropriate knowledge of HR professionals
Present market condition
The HR of the ventures needs to have enough knowledge about the current market condition for
taking appropriate decision in time of recruiting the employees in the venture. It is seen that,
appropriate employees are able to give better performance in the venture. Therefore, in case of
Whirlpool, it has been observed that they were unable to bring effective outcome in their team
meeting. Henceforth, the HR of Whirlpool needs to develop their knowledge as they can spread
it among employees for earning success.
Skills
The HR of the ventures needs to have many skills like multitasking, communication, dual focus,
ethical, discrete, negotiation, change management and many others. Those are followed by-
Communication
The HR of the organisation needs to communicate with managers, current employees and many
others. They need to communicate with the new candidate in time of recruiting. Henceforth, the
HR of organisations needs to develop their skills in communication.
In case of Whirlpool, the employees share their vision with others for fetching effective outcome.
In a group meeting, the HR professionals of Whirlpool need to develop their communication
skills as they can receive positive impact in the market.
Negotiation and problem solving skills
As per the viewpoint of Anitha (2014, p.900), the HR professionals of the ventures need to have
capacity of solving the problems like productivity related problem in the critical situation. The
above-mentioned skill of HR professionals helps to improve the performance of the employees.
In case of Whirlpool, as they face crisis moment, the Hr professionals need to observe the current
condition and negotiate it with other employees for uplifting their position in the market.
