INTRODUCTIONThe success of business industries is the way of developing the economic condition of thecountry. If the organisations are able to run their business effectively, they can uplift thefinancial status of the venture. In order to earn success, the performance of employees is animportant factor. If the employees can perform appropriately, they are able to hold their positionin the contemporary merchandise market. Sharing ideas and collaborative working are thestrategies for earning success in the competitive era. In order to study the topic, the case scenarioof Whirlpool has been taken. It is known to all that, in order to run the business, development ofpersonal skills like learning, communication and so on is necessary. Therefore, the study willprovide the importance of employee behaviours, skills and knowledge for holding the position ofHR. It will also evaluate skills of employees for earning success in the contemporary competitivemarket. professional of HR needs to have enormous knowledge on present affair as they can easilyinteract in time of representing their company to others.Performance management develops the capacity of the employee to meet, exceed and toachieve their full potential for the benefit of the organization as well as themselves, it can alsoserve as the basis for self development and ensure that the support and the guidance need by theemployee to develop and improve is available.Appropriate knowledge of HR professionalsPresent market conditionThe HR of the ventures needs to have enough knowledge about the current market condition fortaking appropriate decision in time of recruiting the employees in the venture. It is seen that,appropriate employees are able to give better performance in the venture. Therefore, in case ofWhirlpool, it has been observed that they were unable to bring effective outcome in their teammeeting. Henceforth, the HR of Whirlpool needs to develop their knowledge as they can spreadit among employees for earning success.From the analysis of the Whirlpool's HR managersskills and competencies, it was identified that managers lack few skills and competencies whichare essential for the HR manager. In this context, the lack of skills and competencies identified inthe Whirlpool's management is described below:SkillsThe HR of the ventures needs to have many skills like multitasking, communication, dual focus,ethical, discrete, negotiation, change management and many others. Those are followed by-CommunicationThe HR of the organisation needs to communicate with managers, current employees andmany others.
