INTRODUCTION
The main purpose of business organisation is too boost productivity by increasing
knowledge and skill of subordinates within workplace. In addition to this, the main focus of
manager is to enhance sales and growth of company in future perspective. They emphasised
on providing unique and specific products and services to its customer worldwide. TESCO,
the management team has eye on offering high quality and innovative products and services
to its consumer in order to satisfy them. The current report shows various knowledge, skills
as well as behaviour that is needed by a HR Manager of business organisation to increase the
performance level of individual. Beside from this, the HR manager conduct effective training
and development session for its subordinates that assists them in enhancing productivity as
well as profitability level. It helps company in maintaining its brand image and goodwill of
company. In addition to this, it shows about HPW make proper efforts in improving the
efficiency of employees.

It is important for business organisation to develop their present job activity for
accomplishing objective and goals in less interval of time. Therefore, it is mandatory for HR

Manager to have a skill, knowledge & competence which helps in boosting the performance
level of employees. In relation with chosen enitity, the HR department’s manager possess
ability and competence to deliver effective training to its subordinate that helps them in
increasing productivity as well as profitability level. The skill and knowledge of HR Manager
of TESCO helps them in enhancing the efficiency of company.(Schultz, 2019).
Professional Knowledge (PK): It is mandatory for human resource to have knowledge in
respect of practical and theoretical actions occur in company. This helps in taking effective
decision for increasing the efficiency of (BO). There are several concept that is followed by
HR manager in relation to TESCO which is explained below:
Human resource & Employees: It is necessary for Human resource Manager to have a
knowledge and competence in respect of recruitment, selection , rules and regulation and so
on. Therefore, the HR of TESCO implement effective strategies, tactics and procedure to
operate its business activities and function in better way. Also they provide positive
surroundings to its subordinates that assists them in boosting the productivity of company.
(Bouwmans,, 2019).
Management and administration: Herein, it is important for HR to have information or
idea of different principles and strategies that helps them in assigning all resources in
appropriate manner. Thus the HR manager of TESCO manages and administers the work for
carrying out its business activities in effective manner.
Government Law: Then, superior must have knowledge in respect of rules as well as
regulations in order to operate business legally. In relevance with selected brand, HR comply
all laws, legislation, policy and procedure for performing its business activities and functions
in systematic manner.
Professional Skills: The HR Practitioner must have a skill that encourages personnel towards
achieving goal and objective within organisation. There are various skills which needed for
influencing employees to do their work in effective way which is mentioned below:
Communication: In this, it is important for manger to have a good communication skill that
needed for communicating with its subordinates in better way. This skill is required for
eliminate confusion that arise due to lack of converstaion. In chosen firm, they have good

interaction ability because various training and meeting session is organised in professional
way. Therefore, HR focuses on increasing skill and knowledge of subordinates in order to
perform work in better way. (Sastri, 2019).
Multitasking: The HR is responsible for conducting all activities and functions related to
managing as well as administrating its subordinates in well defined manner. The superiors of
TESCO focuses on recruiting and selecting effective staff member and provide them training
to operate its business activities in well defined manner. They offer training that helps
employees to work in effective manner during the time of work load.
Conflict management: The HR Manager must be trained in order to resolve conflicts and
grievances occur within workplace. It maintain friendly relation between employees as well
as employer of company. In addition to this, they build positive environment within
company. Also reducing the issues and conflicts that occur within workplace. (Ngandu,
2016).
Professional behaviour: It is essential for manager to have a professional attitude and
behaviour to conduct its business functions in effective way. Thus, it is very crucial to build
friendly relations amongst members which is beneficial for business organisation. In addition
to this, for building positive environment there are several behaviour which must be
followed. Some of them is going to be discussed below:
Ethical Behaviour: The practitioner has ethics which must be adopted by subordinates as
well as manager of company. They offer healthy working environment to its employees in
order to complete their work in effective manner. In context of TESCO, the HR manager
follow different rules and regulations that helps employees in accomplishing goal and
objective within targeted period of time.
Accountable: The senior people of company provide power to its HR manager that helps
them in achieving objective in given time period. They focuses on providing effective
training to its subordinates that helps them in boosting the productivity and performance level
of employees within business organisation. They also take data and information in relation to
its employees so that they understand the issues and problems arises within workplace.
Therefore, it motivates employees for performing well in the organisation. It increases
productivity as well as performance level.
