The company which isconsidered in the following research is Hightown Housing Association. This reportconsists of various human resource functions in providing a strategic and effectiveservice to clients and customers. The determination of appropriate professionalknowledge, skills and behaviors that are required by HR professionals. A completedpersonal skills audit is explained. The difference between organizational and individuallearning, training and development are described. It consists the need for continuouslearning and professional development to drive sustainable business performance. Theimportance of HPW in employee engagement and competitive advantage within aspecific organizational situation is described. In the end, different approaches toperformance management which support in high performance culture and commitmentis given. SECTION 1A) Professional knowledge, skills and behaviors that are required by HR professionalsHuman Resource manager is a person who manage, direct or control all theactivities of a company related to human resources. Various skills, knowledge andbehaviors are required by Human Resources professionals. Some of thereknowledge and skills are as follows:-KnowledgeKnowledge refers to understanding or awareness about some facts, information or skillswhich are commonly required by every individual. With the help of learning anddiscovering a person can increase it’s knowledge.
