Introduction:
Leadership and management are the two important aspects of any successful organisation in the
work environment. Leadership is defined as process which helps in achieving the goals and
objectives in the most effective manners by influencing the group of team of the organisation.
this influence can be created by the means of various formal sources in the organisation to
achieve the desire level of outcomes . the management is a process which focus on planning,
controlling and organising and directing the organisation to accomplished the desire level of
outcomes in the most effective manners. the manager is responsible for making the effective and
efficient policies which will help them to improve the organisational cultures in the most
valuable manners. the roles and responsibilities are taken care of manager and leader as they
helps in achieving the desire level of outcome of the modern organisation. there are different
type of leadership which are compared on the base of their silks and position in the organisation
and also effective its desire aims of the company. It is important for the manager and ;leader to
have different type of skills which helps them to perform the task in the most effective manners
and achieve the desire outcomes within the set time period. (Wong 2017)

Leadership is a process of motivating the group of employees who will helps in
achieving the common goals in the shortest period of time. In the organisation, there must be
leadership which helps in creating the healthy relationship among the employees and with the
leaders and manage so that desire results can be achieved within the set time period. the
effective leadership strategise helps in inspiring the employees to perform better in the given
task by showing them a right path which will improve their productivity of the company.
Management is a process of planning and controlling the different matters of the
company so that finial results can be achieve in the most effective manners in the work places.
In the other words it can be ask that it is process of creating the effective work environment

which helps the employee to perform better in the organisation and achieve the desire level of
outcomes . the management acts as guiding tool and technique which help the employees to
execute the plan inn the most profitable manners. (Williams 2015)
Roles and responsibilities of the managers:
The manager is a person who is responsible for planning, directing and controlling the
operational activities of the organisation along with the division and departments that will help
in achieving the desire goals. The manager is responsible for managing the group of people as to
maintain the effective work culture .they are also known as the line manager who is taking care
of the people and lead the group so that pre-determine goals and objectives are achieved as
planned . some of the roles and duties of the manager in the organisation as stated as below:
 The manager of the organisation is responsible for maintain the health and safety of the
employees while working in the organisation . it is duty of the manager to provide the necessary
tools to its employees so that all the work can be reformed in the effective ways so that goals
can be archived.
 They provide personal as well as professional ongoing development training which helps
the employees to perform better in the given tasks and activities so that it is competed in the most
effective manners.
 Creating the healthy environment and work culture which focus on providing the good and
continues improvement in the growth and high performances .and also work with the human
resource department to recruit and hire and select the most suitable employees so that
organisation are able to grow their business to next level/
 It is a responsibility of the manager to guide and coach , mentor its employees so that they are
able to compete the task in the most effective ways and are able to manage the various things at
the time and gives the results in the set time period. (Teece, 2016)
Roles and responsibilities of the leaders:
The organisational structure required various type of leadership style needed by the leaders so
that they can lead the employees and motivates them to perform according to the rules to achieve
the desire level of outcomes in the effective manners. the good leader are born who holds the
effective quality to lead the team and take out the work in the most profitable ways. an great
leader is one who are able to take the higher risk in the task and achieve the desire outcomes

manners. some of the roles and responsibilities of the leaders are discussed as follows:
 A good leader have a responsibility to have integrity to earn the trust and respects from its
team so that all the members of the term work towards achieving the common goals and
objectives in the most effective manners. this helps the employees to work for
organisation objectives and earn rewards for their best inputs at the task.
 It is duty of the leader to convey the important information to all the employees so that any
kind of miscommunication can be avoided and work can be competed with the
effective results so that organisational goals can be achieved with the prefects outcomes
in the work related places.
 It is responsibilities of the leader to encourage the team members to perform better so that
they can achieve the long term benefits in the organisation.

that results can be seen in the organisation. the leadership are now becoming more important part
of organisation and replacing the management style of work in the companies. The good leader
are one who inspire and motivates the employees to improve their performances by guiding

Leaders and leadership quality of the BILL and Melinda Gates:
Bill gates was a greater leader and having good quality of leadership. He was into computer
from the earlier stage of his life and began to make effective programs for the mainframe
computer and programming language. Bills gates have started its own company Microsoft in the
1981 in the market and have build the effective and sound software system for the computer
which helps the organisation to perform the task in better ways. he has a leadership style know
as autocratic which is depended on the present situation in the company and give the proper and
effective solution for the team so that target are achieve within the set time frame. He holds
various different type of leadership which can be seen at the organisation places and in its
results. (Hristo and Zehrer2015)
Bills gates also have transformational leadership style which he implanted in its company and
its team members. He also have creative personality which is seen in its work from time to time
and teach to its term members so that work can be done effectively. The main thing which make
him a successful is he knowledge and skills capabilities which distinguee him from the another
leaders in the organisation. he was working hard person in the organisation which helps in
making the good quality of software for the world to use .
He is known for having and applying the practical approach in achieving the goals in the
management team and have a great vision for the company which it helps him to achieve the
desire results in the efficient manners. bill gates always encourages its team to improve their
skills and enhance their personal skills to perform the task in the most productivity manners.

People are following the footstep of the bill gates as they are able to see the profitable results in
its goals and ion the organisation. computer software and advances technology has expand in the
organisation which increases the outcomes of the company in the market places. There are large
number of employees who are working for the his company and are able to achieve their dreams
while working for bills gates company. The employees of the organisation are provide with the
effective leadership guidance which helps the employees to learn new things and perform better
at the work place and achieve the desire results. His team includes another good leader and
manager who helps the worker to understand their roles in the team and inspire them to improve
their performances at the work and learn new things by attending the various training and

Leader and leadership quality of Jacinda Arden:
Jacinda Arden is a prime minister of the New Zealand and member of the parliament. She is
also the first house representative for the committee in the government. As soon as she
competed her graduation she started working for the research department for the prime minister
office. And few years later, she work as policy advisor for the British prime minister in the UK
and in 2008 she was elected as president of the international union of socialist. She has great
leadership skills which make her prime minister of the nation.
She is known for his leadership quality and courage to become the prime minister of the new
Zealand . she believe in equality at work places as she divides the authority with its team leader
so that work can be competed in effective and productivity manners. she earn the popularity
among the people which helps her to inspire them to follow their dreams and achieve the
objectives in prefect manners.
Why people follow Jacindra Ardern:
She is very strong and having great personality which helps her to inspire lot of people in the
world to achieve their respective dreams. She has always show her leadership style within her

follow her advise and her way to get success in their respective ways.
Leader and leadership style of Satya Nadella:
Satay Nadella is a chief executive officer at the Microsoft and before joining this organisation
he was vice president of the cloud and enterprise group . he is known for the building the
company computing platform . he was born in India and later moves to the America for his
further studies . in his early stage he started working for the Sun Microsystems and become the
member of the technology department. (Iqbal . and Haider, 2015)
He was considered as good leader as he had manage various important project which are related
to the cloud computing platform. He also work for different part in the management level so that
organisation are able to achieve their goals and objectives in the effective manners which is also
possible by his effective leadership skills.
Staya have been authentic leadership quality which include being honest, trustworthy towards
its people as these individual looks up to him. He was able to manage the risk and uncertain at
the work places which helps the company to achieve their goals in profitable manners
Why follow satya Nadella:
People get motivate with the leadership skills of the satya Nadella and tries to follow his advise
to achieve their objective within the set time period. satya was bold to make changes in the
computer for the people and –provide them effective system which improve the quality.
Different kind of leadership theory:
Trait theory: according to this theory , leader have inherit qualities of leadership which helps
them to perform the task in the most profitable ways by using effective leadership skills within
the team. It also help in understandings the personality of the individual at the work places . for
example Jacinda Arden have strong women leader image in the market.
Great man theory : as per this theory, leader are born with right kind traits which make them
different from the another people of the organisation. it also asks that great leader are born not
made. For example, Bill gates was born with good leadership quality. (Shao and2017)

The great leader and manager have various different type of skills and capabilities which make
them different from another important person of the organisation. a good leader is one who
have strong soft skills which helps he to transfer his ideas in effective ways to its people and
achieve the desire level of outcomes in the management. The leader are able to motivate the
team and handy them ,listen to the feedback so that all the member of the organisation works
for the betterment of the organisation. some of the important skills of the leader are discussed as
below: (Demirtas and Akdogan 2015.)
Communication skills: it is essential skills which leader must possess to enhance the
performance of the team members and achieve the goals in effective ways. it also helps in
increasing the bonding among the team members so that everyone have one common goal to
achieve in the organisation. leader must have proper steps to communicate with the another
members with the help of emails.
Motivation: good leader are able to inspire and motivate the employee and the people to achieve
the objectives in the most effective ways . there are various different mode to motivate the
people to move towards achieving their outcome in proper manners. like the bill gates and
Satya Nadella are able to motivates the employees to follow their dreams and achieve the desire
level of outcomes by performing the effective steps in proper directing and standing tall and
focus on its goals and motivate themselves from time to time.
Delegating: To become the great leader it is important to deliver the authority to its sub –
ordinates to perform the task in the most effective manners . it is essentials to provide some
power to its employee or the members of the team so that they are able to execute the task and

Some good leaders are may not born with the leadership skills which they acquire with
undergoing various training and development programs which helps them to develop the
behaviours which are essentials to become the effective leader in the organisation. they helps

important information to its employees and subordinate which will help in achieving the goals
and objectives in the most effective ways.

team by interaction with each other in the organisation.
