1.1: Explain the purpose of resources in teaching and learning
Different resources are there for teaching and learning. The resources have different uses in
teaching and learning. The resources provides opportunity for learning to learner in the manner
of session or lesson. Session/lessons are included in resources for learners. It helps to learner to
progress their knowledge and learn that thing where they will struggling and facing problem in
learning. These sessions are help to understand the things. Those obstacles are facing by learner
that can be define by numerous resources and it helps in overcome from those obstacles. It is
productive in progressing and developing. The teacher should be given extra support, different
tasks or activities to those who have learning difficulties. The different levels f work or activity
is should be created by the teacher. So that they have planned to promote or motivate the
l;earner to participate. When they does not have enough time in lecture to complete the lesson
which is planned to teach then they provide the information of resources where the related
content is available. The resources are provide the information related to lesson. Learner can be
develop their skills and goals by utilising the resources (Velenturf, 2016).
1.2: Evaluate the effectiveness of specific resources from own specialist area in meeting
individual learning needs
The teacher must be identify their learners all strengths and weakness, in order to make or plan
the activities accordingly because this is part of teaching responsibility. The teacher should be
motivate to their learners for utilising their potential in order of progressing and developing
manner. When teacher know the weakness of learner then they both can work together with in
efficient manner. Give support to learner and help in improving their weakness in strength.
I use the various resources to solve problem of learner. In resources various things are included
like whiteboard, power point presentations, worksheets, text books. I am using all these
resources in my teaching for enhancing learning experience of learner. These resources are
provide freedom to learner for easily understand thing. Books are a traditional way for collect
knowledge and learn new topics. Worksheets are used to analyse the students they how much
understood the lesson and analyse the learning method that is effective or not.
In the end of lecture the teacher asks for honest feedback from learner that is about teaching
method, lecture or regarding to resources. It is my responsibility to examine my strength for
making further improvement in order to my learners to achieve their aims effectually. External

verifiers is examine my teaching skills and give suggestions for how I improve the teaching
skills.
2.1 – Analyse principles of resource design
Principle of resource desanalyse how theories, principles and models of inclusive curriculum
design can be used to inform resource development in own specialist area.ign is very
important to strengthen the basic rules in my organization in line with the safety of participants.
It is compulsory to notice the health and safety risk it is being advised related to energy saving.
And give the information about how to use safety equipments without any harm. The most
important factor in resource design be based on learning needs. This will essential in the
development of different resources. Resources should be develop on the basis of need or
purpose. The resource is should be related to learner. There is various learning styles are present
like printable English and literacy resource. As a teacher, I am daily informed about any changes
in acts, policies, and regulation to learner. And avail the resource related to these things it
includes the current content (Podgorodnichenko, Edgar and McAndrew, 2020).
2.2 – Evaluate sources that inform resource development in own specialist area.
As a teacher, I must identify the students strengths or weakness because I can help and
work with them. Teacher must promote and constantly motivate to students in order to
progressing manner with learning environment. That will help in enhancing their potential. I had
to adapt various numerous sources to cater the students need in my lecture. The picture is to be
printed on A3 or A4 size paper that is easy to see for learner. It connects with who have learning
impairment by podcast or power point presentations and lesson plan in audio. These resources
are developed for them who are not able to hear clearly and effectively. The NHS and
Community Care Act is stated in 1990 in this there is specially trained staff or coordinator will
keep assessment of them who have visual and hearing difficulties.
The students in my class they are facing problems in writing skills they can be given their answer
verbally by audio records. The specially trained staff or coordinator can be helps and support to
them who have disabilities. In writing activities.

2.3 – analyse how theories, principles and models of inclusive curriculum design can be used to
inform resource development in own specialist area.
Both of William Glassers reality and choice theories in which says that the student need
to be attentive or know their responsibilities and freely make their decision of learning. Glasser
(1997) states that the students must be learn according to their choice and maintain the classroom
rules, this will provide a good environment for their learning. This will make happy to student
and it will help them in develop in their self esteem. That will help them in confident level rise.
This method is organised a secure space for the students to learn, it is learners space. It is allow
to learner the freedom to explore and there is no limit to imagine ideas or things. The students
connects their ideas knowledge skills or strategies for further progressive development. The
teacher must keep in mind at the time of resource development, these resources will enhance the
imagination skills or creativity of a student (Oyebode and Parveen, 2019).
Gibbs reflective cycle (1988) is affective tool which offer the individual appropriate amount of
support to think and analyse in the systematic manner about the whole experiences and situation
through which they have passed by. For example any kind of event activity or session. The Gibbs
reflective cycle asses the whole situation in a circular manner and reflect upon their experiences
in a structured way with proper steps.
Maslow (1954) in which he stated about motivation, is a desire of doing something. Motivation
influence to an individual for fulfil their basic needs that is may be some thing or any
opportunity. In this theory there is five basic needs – physiological, social, safety, esteem and
self-actualisation.
2.4- Analyse ways in which resources can be adapted to enable an inclusive approach in
own specialist area
All the resources which are adopted in concern with learning disabilities and difficulties
to get the requirements of the students. As a outcome, I introduced materials which is totally
paper based and depend on the need, learning style, capability , ambition and priority of the
students. To experience their effect in various activities my organization took decision to merge
all kinds of paper. Different papers involves among them including tracing paper, bleed proof
paper, layout paper, cartridge paper, grid and coloured paper. The main motive to adopt the
languages related to my resources is to accomplish visual skills of students language, speech,
communication. Visual skills is a crucial and efficient way of understanding, supporting ,

promote educational atmosphere and enhance confidence and promote learning. Henceforth, I
had to make pictures of fully visual , photographs or symbols, to label instruments and have
some visualization of pictures and topics or any current activities. The side effect of colours for
students with visual disability by altering the colour of the papers to smooth reading. As a
outcome, in class, a visual test conducted by me to determine that how many people have
difficulties in reading even in dashboard by various slides on power point. It gave outcome to an
united decision of navy and black font colour supported by the cream and white colour
background (Mitchell and Sutherland, 2020).
2.5- Design resources, including those that involve new and emerging technologies, to
engage and meet the individual needs of learners in own specialist area
Teacher plays prominent role as a resource developer. Which help in manufacturing and
developing resources in learning activities. Resource developer carried out some roles and
responsibilities which also carried by a teacher. To produce resource, first developer discover
need of every learner and prepare plan how to help the learner to accomplish the needs and then
satisfy them. According to the learner need they design resources and then deliver. The Turkish
online journal of education and technology (2009) conducted a survey in which they provide
minimal teaching resources to one lower group and high and good level of teaching resources to
other group. The outcome considered that higher level of teaching resources come out with
different as compared to the lower level of group teaching resources.
LETUS report series (2003) depicts, that the teacher need to understand the value of educational
ability , organize and use their resources in learning atmosphere in order to motivate leaner.
Technology and book will helps the potential learner and also motivate them to get
further success goal. Some downloadable resources such as e- book, power point slide, work
sheets, world documents . Only disadvantage is that it require regular update. In power point, we
mention information in brief and short so it gave problem for few learner because it can not
explain properly in PPT. The disadvantage is that if the teacher is not good in searching then he
found difficulty to find useful worksheet for their learner.
2.6- Employ resources to engage and meet the individual needs of learners in own specialist
area
Document Page
There are various form of learning resources. To reproduce the resource many times
according to the teacher wish , there are various way like scanning and photocopying. According
to the every single learner learning need and priority all resources amended. After the amended,
teacher save file in PDF ( adobe portable documents formate) or save audio file in MP3 formate.
After this you also save this on hard drive with security. In copyright low 1976, ownership of
these resources reproduced, stored and claimed in various form. There are various formate
through this data can be stored in form of PDF. Mostly people used Moodle and blackboard.
These are very useful resources and help them to accomplish their goals and support learner to
get online help from the teachers. Moodle provide interactive learning and it has various files,
scheduling, features for every learner to use for example chat, dialogues, assignments, PPT,
journals, worksheets, glossary and Wikipedia. It has also disadvantages for example not secure
privacy , timely transparency (Masri and Jaaron, 2017).
3.1- Explain ways in which resources can be classified and stored
It is prominent for every organization to secure proper management details, record and
resources in order to maintain process, overcome pressure and manage workload to provide fast
and smooth communication between all stakeholders. Hence , its necessary to maintain catalogue
so that user can easily track whenever they want and organizational staff are responsible to
maintain all the records. It is crucial to use these activities on intranet so they organization can
easily monitor and control. The next step is to classify file in a systematically form and create
folders and include in search box so that user can easily mention full content to retrieve
resources. In a large organization, decentralised information is suitable in which branch and
partner both are same responsible for the success of the organization.
It is crucial to maintain a appropriate storage system for materials, protection , secure
environment purpose. Organization also ensure some health and safety regulation and providing
training so that they can prepared themselves for the harmful activities. A suitable storage help to
reduce the risk of mould growth, leakage, electrical fire. Environment should be clean and
suitable for the content size. Online resources and materials are applicable for the security
purpose in Data protection policy (2018). hence, why personal ID and password is required to
access all the resources in my organization computer (Cécora, 2019).

3.2- Review ways of sharing resources with other learning professionals
Teaching resources are significant for the learners to accomplish their potential. The
foundation of resources can be high cost and time taking but lesson can not learn with out
resources. So learners need resources so that learner share these resources to other learner for
use. All learner have same need and preferences . Share resources with other learner and
educational institute so it help in decrease financial pressure . Resources can be shared by
different form for example LAN ( Local area network) , VLE ( Virtual leaning environment),
published in journals. LAN is comes under intranet and only use inside the organization. Another
benefits of intranet is that it can be used without internet connection. File sharing permit the
teachers to share all the resources inside institute with and without internet.
VLE is suitable and easily available as all the learning resources will be uploaded for the learner
to use whenever they want to use. They can access it via log in. in this learner need internet
connection this is only disadvantage. In published journal we can easily found the published
copy in news papers , magazines and blogs.

4.1- Review legal requirements and responsibilities relating to the development and use of
resources :-
Educational resources need various legislation and law for the development. The law and
act must be copyright act 1988, it designs and parents act 1988. copyright act 1988 provide right
to the owner to choose useful resources so that they can share and have right to do anything they
want . Areas for example, broadcast, performance, photocopying, public copies all mentioned in
this law which must be obeyed by all of them. If the work is totally original so that it requires
copyright of their work. For example, book writer cannot protect the book so book content need
copyright so that no one can directly copy from this book. Every individual read book and take
idea, motivation and inspiration and then write their own book. Instead of this if anyone was
hired to create work, in that situation individual does not have the authority to receive the part of
the work and the company and employer who appointed them will be clear for copyright. The
data protection act 1998, provide right to the individual to choose from which extent use and
processed their personal information. Law always keep their information confidential and share
with the permission of the individual. The disability act 1995 protects individual who are
disabled and discriminated by others in many ways such as employment, disposal of products
and permission of services and other managerial terms. All the law must be followed in term of
developing, creating materials, publishing resources and educational purpose in a good manner.
4.2- Analysis the implications of intellectual property rights and copyright for the development
and use of resources.
This the responsibility of teacher and learner both to emphasised the importance of
copyright act 1988 and made applicable of intellectual property right in the learning and teaching
environment (Breidbach and Maglio, 2016).
Author has to mention the appreciation and recognition of the resources and teaching material.
In my work, I do the same and cite the author from where I get the inspiration and knowledge
from the books, e-books, journals and articles for getting influence from these authors. This is to
be known that data is collect from where. This also applicable for the institution, educational
organisations and professional companies. This is not fair to tell someone's work as their own it
will be treated as plagiarism.

5.1- Evaluate the effectiveness of own design and use of resources to engage and meet the
individual needs of learners in own specialist area.
Through the various tools, resources and materials in my teaching, they are very important
as it carry numerous activities and sessions. The resources which I use in daily basis are
whiteboard, power point presentation and work sheet. In power point presentation tells my
learners the aim and objectives of the to-do list, by this they will clear about what they going to
learn fore the day. The format is easy to use with the formate size of 14-16 for my students to see
properly. The effectiveness of learner will came to know after the completion of the session.
5.2- Identify own strengths and areas for improvement in relation to development and use of
resources in own specialist area.
My concern is to improving resources. My learners keep engaged throughout the session
with numerous tasks, activities and challenges, through my consisting teaching.
Worksheets:
When we talk about creating work sheet, I make numerous varieties of them for my
learners, there are two learners, one is highly ability learner and another is low ability learner as
I want to make sure the work is available for both of my students dreamlessly of their ability. On
other hand more varieties can be printed from the online mode that will help me to serve many
learners at point of time. At least one of the activity is planned on the interactive white board
(Avgerou and Walsham eds., 2017).
5.3- Plan opportunities to improve own skills in development and use of resources in own
specialist area
There is always a space for the learning of numerous opportunities can implement to
improve my own skills. Like learning more about virtual learning environment and material
needed for that is internet research, theories etc. and this can be done through participating in
good group, work shadowing, observation more experienced colleague in the same field, I
observe my practice in the learning in the different contexts, working with specialist to help me
in the improvement of my resources negotiations with learners and come up with new way that
can help me to provide new data for the betterment for my learners.
