1. Process to assess professional competency
There are different processes through which professional competency can be achieved are
as followed:
Self assessment: This is the first step of professional competency which is used for
personal improvement. Through this assessment personnel can perform effectively and
efficiently. It will help to recognize the strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
Purpose understanding: After personal assessment the reason for which working
personnel of Australian Hardware requires self assessment are to be identified.
Gathering competency data: After self assessment and detail understanding the
competency data should be gathered
Framework design: The data that are gathered from different sources must be used by
the professional to develop the framework.
2. Describing meeting, the questioning and active listening techniques
In order to share the ideas, creativity and experiences the line chief operating officer and
store manager requires arranging profession meeting programs. The meeting should be
conducted periodically and the all the members are required to use proper open communication
while interacting with each other. Open communication offers an open communication forum
where the members can share their ideas and creativity with the rest of the company associates.
