Considered event: Talent Hunt Shows for the Torres Strait Islander community groups
Purpose/objectives
Talent Hunt shows are a means for unleashing the potential of the community groups
towards fulfilling the allocated duties and responsibilities. The purpose of these shows is to
involve the community groups into the mainstream societal activities, which reduces the
instances of isolation, marginalization among others. In the current context, the developed
objectives were:
To assess the participation of the community groups towards the cultural events
To examine the impact of the cultural shows on increasing the standards of living for
the community groups
To investigate the measures taken by the government for empowering the community
groups
To suggest recommendations for improving the standards and quality of the cultural
programs and events for achieving satisfaction, trust, loyalty and dependence from the
community groups
The community needs of high standards of living, acceptance have been fulfilled
through the means of participation in the event. As a matter of specification, diversification
was enhanced, as the cultures got mixed up.
Links to the strategic vision
Azure Library aims to provide equal employment and opportunities to the
stakeholders and shareholders. Catering to the needs, demands and requirements of the
community groups reflects the initiatives towards expanding the scope and arena of the
corporate social responsibility. The services are provided to the customers irrespective of
their caste, creed, religion, and colour among others. Ensuring that all of the stakeholders and
shareholders have equal access to the services, is accounted as an important strategic vision

of the Library. These cultural programs witnesses the assemblage of the clients and customers
from diversified backgrounds, contradicting the aspects of conflicts, discrimination and
harassments. The Diversity Policy is revised, which upgrades the standards and quality of the
programs.
Partners and stakeholders
In case of this program, the key partners are the government agencies, Library
Managers of National Library and Library of Sydney. Along with this, the policy makers are
also the key partners, making valuable contributions in upgrading the standards of the
services for the community people of Torres Strait Islander. The policy makers play an
important role in revising the policies according to the needs, demands and requirements of
the clients and customers. Governmental agencies are crucial in the stage of the meetings,
which seemed to be effective for using the frameworks to ensure that the cultural shows and
events are organized according to the plans. The stakeholders in this event was the volunteers
and community groups, who would invest their talents in the programs and events of the
Azure Library.
