WBS The WBS is comprehensive of each and every feature of the current research. It presents the entire construction of the study into a setup of flow chart. CHAPTER-2 LITERATURE REVIEW Theme:1 To develop an understanding towards the concept of innovative digital technology According toHervas-Oliver, and et.al (2020), the digital innovation can be described as the practice of using technology within the organization in order to solve the daily problems faced by the individuals within the workplace. It has been identified that the organizations make effectiveusedifferingtechnologies, applications, andsoftwarewithintheorganizational premises in order to increase the efficiency and the productivity of the workforce within the enterprise. The different tools and technologies that can be used by the organizations includes chatbots, wearable devices, artificial intelligence, big data and other such technologies within the enterprise.
As investigated byHinings, Gegenhuberand Greenwood, (2018), it can be stated that the workplace transformation using innovative technology can be found helpful in enhancing the employee productivity and employee engagement within the enterprise. This is so, because, the use of technology provides the employees with flexibility to work from anywhere and anytime they want. On the same note, employees feel comfortable as they can carry out their activities as per their own convenience. This availability of flexibility among the employees helps the company in enhancing the level of satisfaction within the workforce and allow them to work hard in order to achieve the organizational goals. Also, when the level of employee satisfaction within the enterprise is high the employee feels motivated and makes an effort to engage themselves within the organizational activities. This helps the company in achieving their goals and objectives and enhance their profitability and brand positioning within the market. Theme:2 To examine the importance of digital technology at workplace As investigated byKane, Palmer,. and Phillips, (2019), there are several benefits of transforming an organization into a digital workplace by making use of different kinds of applications and technologies. The major benefits associated with the transformation of an organization into a digital workplace includes providing the employees with flexibility, enhances the employee experience within the company, reduce the cost of operations within the enterprise, enhances the customer experience and also increase the productivity of employees within the company. It has been determined that the use of technology makes it easier for the employees to carry out their routine activities and provides the employees with the required assistance in carrying out the same. When carrying out the routine tasks within the company gets easier, it helps the company in encouraging their existing workforce to carry out their day to day operations in an effective manner with the use of the available technology and resources within the enterprise. This, in turn, helps the organization in achieving their goals and targets set by them within a stipulated timeframe. According to the views presented byPlanes-Satorra, and Paunov, (2019), it has been analysed that the use of technology within the company and transforming the enterprise into a digital workspace is also helpful in enhancing the customer experience with the enterprise. The use of chatbots helps the company in enhancing the customer experience with the company. Because of the chatbots, the customers have the right and the authority to easily make a complaint within the company if they have faced any kind of issue or difficulty at the workplace. 7

Also, the chatbots instantly responds to the queries and complaints made the consumers. This helps the company in enhancing the satisfaction level of the workforce within the enterprise. CHAPTER 3: RESEARCH METHODOLOGIES Research methodologies are the tools and techniques that is been utilised by the researcher in order to draw a better conclusion of the study. Research type: Research type can be understood as the nature of research where researcher selects the approach to conduct the study. It can be done in two ways which are qualitative and quantitative research type (Chowdhry, Verma and Mathur, 2020). Qualitative study which involves the data that do not include any numeric, figurative facts. While in quantitative analysis it consists of the figurative and numeric data. For this study analyst has selected the qualitative analysis for collecting the data so that better outcome can be reached. As well as qualitative study is helpful in providing the maximum flexibility to the researcher which can be absent in quantitative study. Research approach: Research is always being done with proper approach as to plan out the procedure and stages that can be used in study. There are two type of research approach which are inductive and deductive approach. Where inductive begins with gathering the data which is relevant to the topic, in this new formation of theory is found. On the other hand, deductive reasoning which is generally associates with the scientific investigation, it moves from general premises to the specific result, in this hypothesis is also found. Inductive reasoning is appropriate for this study as it attends the study closely, it also helps in developing the possibility about what things will happen next. Research design: It is the framework of the research methods that is selected by the research analyst in order to arrange the study. It is further divided in two aspects that are exploratory and descriptive research design. Exploratory is generally conducted to investigate the problem in research that is not clearly define and also it is use when there is no past data is available for reference. Descriptive research design which is used to acquire information in a systematic manner that explains the phenomenon or situation (Gierlich-Joas,Teebken and Hess, 2022). In this study
researcher has chosen the exploratory research design which is low in cost as well as efficient in leading the research further. Research philosophy: It deals with the nature and development of the knowledge, it is about the way to gather the data and arrange it in a systematic order to draw better outcomes. It is further divided in two terms that is interpritivism and positivism. Interpritivism Approach where researcher acts as an social actor to observe the world. While in positivism, it adheres to only factual data that is obtained from observation. Interpritivism approach is been followed in this study because of its advantages over positivism, it allows the researcher to interpret the data as well as responses are valid and near to truth. Data collection: It is the process of collecting the data for the study that can be incorporated throughout the study. In research data collection is one of the essential part that can be further understood in two terms which is primary and secondary. Primary data that is collected from open source communication, interviews, questionnaire, whereas secondary data is already present and data sources are books and journals (Nadkarni and PrĂĽgl,2021). In this research study analyst has utilised both primary and secondary data, as primary data will help in providing the trustful data and secondary method is cost and time efficient which is beneficial in carrying out the best outcome of study. Data analysis: After data collection, it is important to analyse the data that can be done by using different techniques and tools so that relevant information can come out. It can be done in two ways which are thematic and statistical analysis. Where thematic processes the qualitative data, where researcher closely determine the common themes. In statistical analysis it involves the several operations that is perform on the quantitative data. For this research thematic data analysis is used as study is based on qualitative data. Sampling: Sampling is the process of selecting the sample size from large audience to obtain the information on research issue. It can be differing in two ways which are random sampling and non-probabilistic sampling (VARDARLIER,2020). In random sampling all sample size has equal chance to share their views on research topic while in non-probabilistic there is less 9
probability that every sample will get chance to share their views on study issue. In this research Analyst have randomly selected the 20 members of Morrison to obtain their views over digital workplace transformation. Ethical consideration: Ethical codes and set of policies are mandatory in research study, in this research analyst have already followed all ethical consideration to keep participants information confidential. Researcher also have sent the consent form which shows the willingness of the participants to be part of the research. Also a list of references is also provided in the end which shows that this work is not copied and it is self-done by researcher.
