There are several problems that the company face at the time of implementing digital
transformation such as less value added food products, unclear indicators of growth, ineffective
supply chain and high rate of homogenization. This results in lowering the profit margin of the
company and customer demand for food products in the competitive canned food industry. The
company is providing various different food and beverages to customers in market but the main
problem is not having advanced technology and limited budget (Vogelsang and et. al., 2019). It
is important for the company to know the demand for canned food products in the overall market
of China and in determining the recent trends of digitalisation.
