1. Discuss about the four elements of an EA management program
and the six elements of an EA analysis and design method.
Answer: Management Program
Strategic Alignment: Maximization of the efficiency as well as effectiveness of the resources.
This will in turn help in promoting the comparative capabilities of the enterprise.
Standardized Policy: This policy would provide much more holistic and hierarchical view
regarding the resources that are currently in the organisation or may be used in future. EA
identifies the establishment of the entire policy for the operational requirements of the
organisation and also identifying the strategic requirements of the organisation. Standardized
policy determines the activities and resource alignments in a strategic way in Intel organisation
through the policy.
Decision Support: This supports in the decision making of the IT resource support in the
organisation at the executive, management and stuff level of the entire organisation.
Resource Oversight: Resource overseas approaches to standardise way of supporting in the
entire development and overseas the capabilities for optimising the supporting resources
within the organisation.
EA analysis and design method
Framework: The framework of the design and analysis method helps in identifying the
scope of the architecture that needs to develop and for the establishment of the relationships
between the areas of architecture.
EA components: Analysis and design method for EA components have changeable goals,
resources and standard that has a chance of having an enterprise wide extension what can also
be contained inside a specific line of segment or business. On the other hand there is a vertical
goal that defines the process program and resources serving the one line of business.
Horizontal goal on the other hand is a process program or resource that has several lines of
businesses.
Current architecture: The current architecture of the analysis and design method has an
as-is view. This means that the particular current view of EA has been serving for the creation of
a baseline inventory including the current resources and activities which are to be document in
