ABSTRACT
Purpose
This research seeks to examine the overall importance of educational leadership for
establishing the standardized and quality management of education and teaching. firstly it
investigates the major elements of educational leadership and secondly the effectiveness of
policy development. it majorly explains the effectiveness of educational leadership and policy
development.
Methodology
For this study. Secondary research method is applied by the researcher for the purpose of
completion of the work in effective manner. Secondary method is effective in conducting the
section of literature and also plays effective role in developing an appropriate theoretical frame
work on the research issue.
Findings
Education is an important aspect of national development, which plays vast role in
protecting human rights since it provides the environment which needs for securing good health,
security, liberty, economic well-being and appropriate participation in social and political
activities. The term education is also considered as the process of giving and receiving well
structured instructions mainly at schools or universities. Educational leadership is a collaborative
procedure which unify the forces and talents of teacher, parents or students. Educational
leadership is defined as an essential process which is effective in enlisting and assisting the right
talent and energies of leaders, teachers, pupils and parents in regards to attaining common goals
and aims related with education. The essential purpose of this research is to enhancing the
knowledge base of learner in the area of developing the skills in educational sector for reaching
at the potential growth of their career.
Conclusion
In today's modern world people are very much concern about their studies and higher
educations in respect to developing their knowledge base and skills. Thus this create value in
attaining higher growth in their career or life. A developing opinion among scholars of
leadership and sustainable growth associated through the enhancing case of policy failure.
Leadership issues and a deteriorating political economy with the conflict of an ineffective
leadership structure and the absence of an educated elite class, as some of the most prominent

factors encumbering political development within United Kingdom. Education is refers as the
process of facilitating learning or the acquisition of skills, knowledge, values, habits and beliefs.

training. This is attained by the appropriate collaboration of different individuals like as
educators, parents, students, public policy maker etc. in regards to the business perspective
educational leadership is considered as a form of academic management and quality control.
Policies development is a crucial concept, thus organisations are concern on developing policies
as the policies are effective on providing significant direction to the firm or its management to
conduct all business activities in effective manner (Beetham and Sharpe, 2013). A good and
effective performance in education, training and research sectors immensely contributes to any
country's economic development. Efficient performance of education sector produce an
appropriate human resource capital which is integral in encouraging the high productivity of
nation (Robles, 2012). Developed productivity and performance of nation is an essential channel
in the elimination of poverty, disease and ignorance, hence it also plays effective role in
increasing human welfare.
Literature Review
Literature review is considered to be the most essential part of research as it plays
effective role in providing a proper theoretical frame work on the given analysis (Binkley and et.
al., 2012). This part of research is based on secondary source of data collection as in this data
and information has been gathered by the secondary sources like books, journals, online sites,
newspaper and in this past research work plays efficient role in gathering valid and reliable data
for completion of the work. In this data has been gathered through analysing the opinion of
various authors and writers in the context of specified area of study.
The impact of educational leadership on developing the education skills and management.

School leadership is now considered as an education policy priority across the globe.
Increased school autonomy and a greater concentration on schooling and school outputs have
create it important to reconsider the role of school leaders. There is much room for improvement
to professionalise school leadership, to support present school leaders and to make school
leadership an attractive career for future candidates. The ageing of present principals and the
general shortage of qualified individuals to replace them after retirement make it insistent to take
action. As per the views expressed by Harriet Nannyonio, 2017, education is a fundamental
requirement of each individual, and it plays effective role in developing the knowledge base and
skills of the people in effective manner (Bolden, 2016). Leadership is a crucial element of all
social endeavours. In the educational sector it is essential to maintain workforce of talented and
skilled people in respect to providing effective knowledge and skills base to enhance their
ability. Educational leadership includes working with and guiding teachers toward developing
educational processes in elementary, secondary and post secondary institutions. Proper and
efficient educational leadership helps the people in developing their personal skills and
knowledge base through attaining appropriate idea and knowledge in some specified educational
areas. The importance of leadership and management gives a basics for building and including in
educational sector. After evaluating the issues in teaching and research, future needs and
directions of leadership and management for education assist an individual to moving forward
towards right direction. A more systematic formulation to developing the requisite skills for
forward leadership and management roles may be useful. Whether or not a teacher takes on a
formal leadership position, the acquisition of these skills needs to be serve for develop the
performance in the schoolroom. Along with this, a systematic approach to the development of
the required skills for forward leadership and management roles can be effective to guide the
class, group of personnel. developing performance of an individual in the classroom will grow in
situation of acquisition of leaders and teacher leadership skills and management.
The ways through which educational leadership can be improved to help further develop
education skills and management for the 21st century.
As per the views expressed by Maurice J. Elias, 2016, IN this modern era education is is
the primary consideration of an individual and leadership in education is more important now
than ever. In today’s world of academia, educational leaders are a requisite element for the sake
of students, colleagues, and school districts alike (Boud, Cohen and Sampson, 2014).

Educational leadership is mainly considered as the responsibility of administrating schools and
principals, who strive to create positive change in the educational processes and policies. There
are different ways through which educational leadership can be improved in respect to providing
help to further develop education skills and management for the 21st century. Some are
described as below:
Believe and Envision: This is the primary aspect which is required for a leader to have as to
providing core benefits to the people by communicated with clarity, concision and passion. In the
sector of education believe and vision is essential to be reached at their potential goals.
Start strong and simple: It is also essential for a leader to get off quick at the very beginning,
which shows the high knowledge base of leaders (Buabeng-Andoh, 2012). The major obligation
of a leader is to inspire people and motivate them to put efforts in attaining knowledge base and
increase it with proper practical practices. Smart leaders are concern on small and potentially
solvable issues rather than taking most challenging issues. This ability provides chance to each
individual to see how leaders are working and for some more are getting chance to directly
included in the practices of leadership style and get experience from them.
Persuade and Inspire: This is also an essential aspect which is required to be have by the
leaders. It is required for a leader to be able to articulate a realistic and clear vision of how the
organization will look in the future, and help others to see the vision as appropriate with their
own concerns, goals, or deep beliefs. In the educational sector, leaders are mainly concern on
inspire individuals to get appropriate knowledge to sustain their skills to attain high competitive
edge in their future growth.

This also refers as the most essential part of research work as it plays effective role in
providing the appropriate direction to the researcher to moving forward towards right direction.
A research aim is consist is on a statement in which the research issue is mentioned in
appropriate manner (Fullan, 2012). Research aim is a predetermined aspect on which the whole
activity of research is based. The essential aim of the research is “To explore the overall
importance of educational leadership for establishing the standardized and quality management
of education and teaching”.

This also considered to be the primary aspect of research work and it also gives
significant direction to the investigator to segregate issue in different statements (Fullan, 2014).
This section of the research is interlinked with the research aim and it represents the elements of
research issue in different statements. The essential objectives of the research is evaluated as
below:

management.
 To analyze the ways through which educational leadership can be improved to help
further develop education skills and management for the 21st century.
Research Questions
This section of the research is significantly based on research objectives as in this
research questions are prepared on the basis of research objectives (Hairon and Dimmock,
2012). This section plays effective role in conducting the section of literature review through
analyzing the opinion of various authors and writers. The potential research questions are
described as below:
 What impact is educational leadership having on developing the education skills and
management?
 How can educational leadership be improved to help further develop education skills and
management for the 21st century?
METHODS OF DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS
Participants
This is the most essential part of research methodology. Participants are called a human
subject or an experiment, trial or study participants or subject. Participants are the persons who
takes effective participation in human subject research through being the target of observation by
investigators. In this particular research people under the age group of 18 who are taking
education from schools and universities are selected because they are suitable for providing
appropriate and viable information (Harris, 2013). In this sample size of 30 respondents are taken
for further investigation of the research in proper manner.

Measures, equipment and facilities
This consist to be the most essential part of research, the prior responsibility of the
investigator is to select the type of research. A research is either qualitative or quantitative in
nature. The present research is based on qualitative investigation as in this details are provided in
the form of theoretical aspects. Inductive approach is being applied because it is effective in
describing systematic evaluation on qualitative research. Along with this descriptive research
design is applied for the analysis of deductive research approach (Jones and et. al., 2012).
Deductive approach will be helpful in better application of the different relevant theories and
models regarding educational leadership, that have been examined. These methodologies works
in collaborative manner and provide a significant direction to complete the research is right
manner. In this particular exploration work survey is being conduct among the students, which
can be considered as a primary source of data collection.
Data collection procedures
Data collection is determined as the most essential element of the research as the whole
exploration activities are based on the data which are gathered by the researcher for completion
of the work in effective manner. In a research work data is being gathered through primary and
secondary sources and in the present study work secondary sources are taken into proper
consideration (Leithwood and Hallinger, 2012). In the secondary research all the data and
informations the gathered through academic journals, books, research papers, books and various
online PDF or website sources that are based on educational leadership and policies
development. The appropriate use of secondary data sources have enabled the investigator to
implementing the data analysis procedure in highly standardised manner by providing highly
reliable facts and information, which has been specific advantage of conducting secondary data
analysis in the present study work.
Data analysis procedures
Data analysis is considered as the process of systematically using statistical tool to
analyse recap, condense and evaluate the data. In the present research work data has been
analysed, with the help of thematic analysis, in which themes are prepared on the basis of data
and information that is collected from the secondary sources. This procedure is effective in
increasing the overall purpose of the research results that will be depend on valid and reliable
research or studies that replicates from the research journals and articles (National Research

Council, 2013). Along with this thematic analysis will be conducted that covers all the aim and
objectives of the research work.

RESULT
This considered as the most essential part of research investigation as in this data has been
analysed through providing proper discussion (Pazey, B.L. and Cole, H.A., 2013). This part of
the exploration is based on the secondary data as in which which are gathered through secondary
sources are discussed with valuable and valid facts and figures. In this section the discussion is
made on literature review in which the overall purpose aims and objectives are covered in
effective manner.
Theme 1: Educational leadership has a huge influence on developing the education skills and
management.
From the above given analysis it has been evaluated that educational leadership is
significantly plays vast role in developing the educational skills and management of an
individual. Things which are considered to be the fundamental aspects like knowledge, family,
payments, material and spiritual culture wealth, all of them have some information which are
required by an individual in their life. Data and information has a great impact on everything
which are attempted by people. It is a main form of people discussion, talks, communication,
actions and profits. All of these are required to be good attempted and leaded. As international
experience represents an essential aspect of this change is understanding of science and art of
management. Education helps an individual in enhancing their knowledge base which create
value in attaining their future goals in effective manner. Education is considered to be the most
essential aspect as the growth of an economy is based on the educated people who work and
attain significant growth in their career. As the global economy gathers indefinite quantity, more
governments are factually providing that their main assets are their people and that remaining, or
becoming, competitive depends increasingly on the development of a highly skilled workforce.
This requires well skills or trained and committed teachers but they are in turn of building
effective leadership styles among teachers for the purpose of providing effective knowledge base
of learner.
Theme 2: Educational leadership is effective in improving the further development in
education skills and management for the 21st century.
Form the detailed analysis of the report it has been determined that educational leadership
is effective in improvising the future development of individual in educational skills and
management for the 21st century. Education is the primary need of an individual and it plays

effective role in attempting their future goals in appropriate manner. In the modern era of 21 st
century people are very much focused about their study, personal and professional growth.
Education is effective in providing a wide plate form to individual to enhance their knowledge
and skills in different areas in respect to attaining growth and success in their life. Education is
also effective in providing life long benefits to people. In the educational sector it is required for
organization to hire well skilled and talented teacher and lecturers in order to providing proper
and accurate knowledge to the learners. Proper educational leadership is effective in maximizing
the knowledge base of learner through providing them appropriate guidance. There is great
involvement of educational leadership in the early part of the 21st century. This is because of the
huge belief that the skills and quality of leadership makes a huge difference to school and student
results. In different geographical area of the globe, including South Africa, there is recognition
that schools needs effective leaders and managers if they best possible education facilities are
provided to the domestic as well as international students.

DISCUSSION
This section of the exploration is based on the questions that are asked by the researcher in the
survey session. in this appropriate answers are provided in respect to reaching at the final results
and outcomes. The present research is based on Education leadership and policy development
and in this questions are being asked by the students of schools and universities. In this people
above the age group of 20 are selected for providing appropriate information about the education
leadership and the requirement of policy development. The selected sample size is 17 as In this
mainly respondents are the education leaders or tutors.

practice , so participants (87.5%) chosen all the given aims where (6.3%) only focused on
bottom-up and top-down participatory and community management interventions.

CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Conclusion
From the above given report it has been concluded that educational leadership plays
effective role in developing the educational skills and management of an individual. Policy
development is also plays vast role in providing an effective way to implement all the tactics of
educational leadership in the sector of education. A policy is determined as a deliberate system
of different principles that are effective for guide decision and attain potential outcomes.
Moreover it is a statement of intent and it also executed as a procedure or protocol. Education is
an essential element of national development, which plays effective role in unlocking and
protecting human rights since it provides the environment that requires for securing good health,
security, liberty, economic well-being and appropriate participation in social and political
activities. Education leadership and policy development are some effective tools that are
considered to be the most viable component in the educational sector. Proper educational
leadership has positive impact on the performance of the people and develops their knowledge
base and skills. Policies are required to be implement in respect to follow the appropriate
guideline that are provided by the educational leader to their learners.
Recommendation
From the above discussion it has been recommended that, in the sector of education
organisations should follow apply appropriate tools and methods to develop leadership skills
among the teachers as it is effective for providing significant direction to their learners to attain
potential growth. Policies should be developed in positive manner so that follow up the
legislations are easy for people. Policies should be inter related with the norms or government so
that there is less chance of accruing issues and conflicts. Leaders should adopt effective
leadership skills so that proper knowledge base and skills can be implemented among the
learners. Leaders should analyse the present skills and knowledge base of people so that
appropriate guidance can be provided to the learners which helps the in enhancing their
knowledge base to attain their personal as well as professional gaols.
