ABSTRACT
Purpose
This research seeks to examine the overall importance of educational leadership for
establishing the standardized and quality management of education and teaching. firstly it
investigates the major elements of educational leadership and secondly the effectiveness of
policy development. it majorly explains the effectiveness of educational leadership and policy
development.
Methodology
For this study. Secondary research method is applied by the researcher for the purpose of
completion of the work in effective manner. Secondary method is effective in conducting the
section of literature and also plays effective role in developing an appropriate theoretical frame
work on the research issue.
Findings
Education is an important aspect of national development, which plays vast role in
protecting human rights since it provides the environment which needs for securing good health,
security, liberty, economic well-being and appropriate participation in social and political
activities. The term education is also considered as the process of giving and receiving well
structured instructions mainly at schools or universities. Educational leadership is a collaborative
procedure which unify the forces and talents of teacher, parents or students. Educational
leadership is defined as an essential process which is effective in enlisting and assisting the right
talent and energies of leaders, teachers, pupils and parents in regards to attaining common goals
and aims related with education. The essential purpose of this research is to enhancing the
knowledge base of learner in the area of developing the skills in educational sector for reaching
at the potential growth of their career.
Conclusion
In today's modern world people are very much concern about their studies and higher
educations in respect to developing their knowledge base and skills. Thus this create value in
attaining higher growth in their career or life. A developing opinion among scholars of
leadership and sustainable growth associated through the enhancing case of policy failure.
Leadership issues and a deteriorating political economy with the conflict of an ineffective
leadership structure and the absence of an educated elite class, as some of the most prominent

factors encumbering political development within United Kingdom. Education is refers as the
process of facilitating learning or the acquisition of skills, knowledge, values, habits and beliefs.

Educational leadership is considered to be the collaborate process which unites the forces
and talents of students, teachers and parents. The potential goal of educational leadership is to
develop the quality of education and system of education itself. The fundamental purpose of
educational leadership is to ensure academic growth by the improvement of process, material and
training. This is attained by the appropriate collaboration of different individuals like as
educators, parents, students, public policy maker etc. in regards to the business perspective
educational leadership is considered as a form of academic management and quality control.
Policies development is a crucial concept, thus organisations are concern on developing policies
as the policies are effective on providing significant direction to the firm or its management to
conduct all business activities in effective manner (Beetham and Sharpe, 2013). A good and
effective performance in education, training and research sectors immensely contributes to any
country's economic development. Efficient performance of education sector produce an
appropriate human resource capital which is integral in encouraging the high productivity of
nation (Robles, 2012). Developed productivity and performance of nation is an essential channel
in the elimination of poverty, disease and ignorance, hence it also plays effective role in
increasing human welfare.
Literature Review
Literature review is considered to be the most essential part of research as it plays
effective role in providing a proper theoretical frame work on the given analysis (Binkley and et.
al., 2012). This part of research is based on secondary source of data collection as in this data
and information has been gathered by the secondary sources like books, journals, online sites,
newspaper and in this past research work plays efficient role in gathering valid and reliable data
for completion of the work. In this data has been gathered through analysing the opinion of
various authors and writers in the context of specified area of study.

School leadership is now considered as an education policy priority across the globe.
Increased school autonomy and a greater concentration on schooling and school outputs have
create it important to reconsider the role of school leaders. There is much room for improvement
to professionalise school leadership, to support present school leaders and to make school
leadership an attractive career for future candidates. The ageing of present principals and the
general shortage of qualified individuals to replace them after retirement make it insistent to take
action. As per the views expressed by Harriet Nannyonio, 2017, education is a fundamental
requirement of each individual, and it plays effective role in developing the knowledge base and
skills of the people in effective manner (Bolden, 2016). Leadership is a crucial element of all
social endeavours. In the educational sector it is essential to maintain workforce of talented and
skilled people in respect to providing effective knowledge and skills base to enhance their
ability. Educational leadership includes working with and guiding teachers toward developing
educational processes in elementary, secondary and post secondary institutions. Proper and
efficient educational leadership helps the people in developing their personal skills and
knowledge base through attaining appropriate idea and knowledge in some specified educational
areas. The importance of leadership and management gives a basics for building and including in
educational sector. After evaluating the issues in teaching and research, future needs and
directions of leadership and management for education assist an individual to moving forward
towards right direction. A more systematic formulation to developing the requisite skills for
forward leadership and management roles may be useful. Whether or not a teacher takes on a
formal leadership position, the acquisition of these skills needs to be serve for develop the
performance in the schoolroom. Along with this, a systematic approach to the development of
the required skills for forward leadership and management roles can be effective to guide the
class, group of personnel. developing performance of an individual in the classroom will grow in
situation of acquisition of leaders and teacher leadership skills and management.
The ways through which educational leadership can be improved to help further develop
education skills and management for the 21st century.
As per the views expressed by Maurice J. Elias, 2016, IN this modern era education is is
the primary consideration of an individual and leadership in education is more important now
than ever. In today’s world of academia, educational leaders are a requisite element for the sake
of students, colleagues, and school districts alike (Boud, Cohen and Sampson, 2014).

Educational leadership is mainly considered as the responsibility of administrating schools and
principals, who strive to create positive change in the educational processes and policies. There
are different ways through which educational leadership can be improved in respect to providing
help to further develop education skills and management for the 21st century. Some are
described as below:
Believe and Envision: This is the primary aspect which is required for a leader to have as to
providing core benefits to the people by communicated with clarity, concision and passion. In the
sector of education believe and vision is essential to be reached at their potential goals.
Start strong and simple: It is also essential for a leader to get off quick at the very beginning,
which shows the high knowledge base of leaders (Buabeng-Andoh, 2012). The major obligation
of a leader is to inspire people and motivate them to put efforts in attaining knowledge base and
increase it with proper practical practices. Smart leaders are concern on small and potentially
solvable issues rather than taking most challenging issues. This ability provides chance to each
individual to see how leaders are working and for some more are getting chance to directly
included in the practices of leadership style and get experience from them.
Persuade and Inspire: This is also an essential aspect which is required to be have by the
leaders. It is required for a leader to be able to articulate a realistic and clear vision of how the
organization will look in the future, and help others to see the vision as appropriate with their
own concerns, goals, or deep beliefs. In the educational sector, leaders are mainly concern on
inspire individuals to get appropriate knowledge to sustain their skills to attain high competitive
edge in their future growth.
