the duties and the role of the adequate employees through the internal communication medium.

the best medium to reach the desired objectives, communication mediums must be developed on
the basis of majority obtained from the employees so that disputes over the communication
mediums could be avoided. In regards to adopting the adequate communication strategies for the
organization, management decides to adopt the strategies on the basis of determining the
communication strategies of other big companies in order to attain great results. This has opted

to avoid the use of internal communication system, some of the companies' examples are taken in
order to prove the effectiveness of the communication system. Companies are selected from the

Future Strategies
As per the scenario provided in the case study, it is observed that future strategies will be
developed in relevance to the communication strategies for the organization. AS per the given
information, an organization is facing a number of challenges due to the lack of communication
strategies and they are as follows:
Instant communication to the consumers and employees
It has been evaluated that organization is not able to convey its messages and important
information to the employees as well as to its clients. Due to this, an organization is facing a
number of challenges such as loss of clients and indirectly it is leading to the loss of profits.
Along with these, managerial control is also lacking and an employees-employers relationship is
also getting affected (Goetsch & Davis, 2014).
Communication Barriers
Lack of communication strategies causes various issues to the organization such as ineffective
medium for contacting the employees internally. Updating the clients regularly in relevance to
their orders and apart from this, an organization is operating in a number of countries. Hence,
being an international organization, a company cannot afford the weak communication system
due to its international clients as well as a large number of employees. The organization is
struggling in controlling its employees due to the weak communication system and due to this,
the organization is moving towards the huge loss situations (Bargiela-Chiappini & Nickerson,
2014).

Business Communication 11
Adverse Comment from clients
As the organization is lacking in the adequate communication system, hence; its clients are not
getting enough information in relevance to their orders and the products offered by the
organization. Due to this, clients may move towards the other organization for attaining better
services (Jin, Liu & Austin, 2014).
Unique Cultural factors
As organization is operating in various countries with unique cultures, it is obvious that all those
countries follow unique communication strategies and to cope up with them a universal or
common strategy needs to be adopted to enhance the success factors but due to lack of this kind
of information system, organization is failing to achieve its desired objectives (Bedwell, Fiore &
Salas, 2014).
Language issues
This issue does not carry much importance still it is counted as the issue. As the organizations,
headquarter is based in the Australia and the local language used in Australia is English whereas
countries like Nigeria, India, and Vietnam may not use the English as their local language.
Hence, this becomes the barrier in achieving adequate goals for the organization (Fall, et. al.,
2013).
Under development in digital and social media platforms
These are the two mediums of communication strategy through which various organizations have
increased their productivity and achieved next level targets. But due to non-adaptation of these
mediums in the communication strategy, an organization is failing to meet its customers' need

and as a result, an organization is moving towards the negative side of the growth (Jackson,
2014).
Suggestions
After analyzing this organization's performance, it is observed that organization requires various
improvement measures in order to attain the adequate goals. Hence, from available
communication theories and the models, the mixture of them needs to be adopted in relevance
with the achievement of goals as well as to attain the adequate image in the global market.
Aristotle’s Model
As per this model of communication, it involves five basic theories such as the speaker, speech,
occasion, effect, and audience. Hence, with the adaptation of this model, organizational top
management needs concentrate on their words and the matter on which they are speaking. This
model also helps the management to analyze the requirements of the employees and fulfills them
in order to obtain their best performance as well as to gain effective results (Kaptein, 2017).

Lasswell’s model
This model of enhancing the communication strategy includes the adaptation of the media to
enhance the communication mediums of the organization. There are certain factors which form
this model i.e. who says what, in which channel, to whom and with what effect. As per this
model, an organization may use updated and hi-tech mediums such as the internet, television,
radio, etc. to communicate with its clients and this will also help the organization to attract a
number of consumers (Rahmanjmc, 2015).
(Source: Rahmanjmc, 2015).
Cross-cultural practices model
This model helps the company to deal with the issues which occurred due to unique cultures
followed by the country. Under this model, three types of practices are included i.e. socio-
cultural, reflective and the critical practices (Thomas & Peterson, 2017). Under the reflective
practice model, an organization needs to evaluate its experience from its past and to improve its
performance. In the sociocultural practices, an organization could adopt the strategy of taking
feedbacks from the customers in relevance with improving the performance, etc. and in the

critical practices. The company builds its strengths in order to gain the competitiveness for the

Conclusion and implication
It has been concluded from the aforesaid explanation that organization is struggling with various
communication challenges and as the organization is operating in multiple countries, a
requirement for adaptation of latest communication strategy is necessary. To overcome from the
situation of the challenges faced due to lack of proper communication strategies, various
communication models, as well as theories, are evaluated in order to achieve success over the
success factors of the organization. In order to achieve the target of the organization, the
adaptation of communication strategies are necessary and to avoid the issues raised with the
effect of non-adaptation of communication strategies, appropriate communication theory and the
model needs to be practiced.
The basic things that management of the organization needs to determine are the adoption of
control over the activities of the organization. To overcome the issues such as collective disputes
due to lack of internal communication measures. Loss of clients and the profitability due to lack
of communication and the information provided to them, etc. If all these policies and the rules
are applied within the workplace, an organization would achieve its desired objectives and the
goals as well as it will also establish its market presence in the global market.
