INTRODUCTIONThis present report contains all the information of organisation and behaviour of the citycollege and enterprise rent-a-car. Present report contain the relevant information like, what arethe different organisational structures and culture and how the relationship between anorganisation's structure and culture can impact on the performance of the organisation. What arethe different factors which influence individual behaviour at the workplace (Ashby, 2013). Thispresent report also contain the effectiveness of different leadership styles in the differentorganisation and how organisation theory underpins the practice of the management. It alsoevaluate the different approaches to management used by organisation and impact that differentleadership styles may have on motivation in organisations and different motivational theorieswithin the workplace. It also contain the relevant information like, what are the usefulness ofmotivation theory for the manager and nature of groups and group behaviour within theorganisations. It also the discuss the factors that may promote the development of effectiveteamwork in organisation and impact of technology on team functioning within the city collageand enterprise rent-a-car organisations.TASK 11.1 Compare different organisational structures and cultureThe culture and structure of the organisation can influence the performance with in theorganisation. The structure is based on the infrastructure of the city college and enterprise rent-a-car organisation. The structure of the organisation helps the culture of bot organisation. Types of organisation structure:Functional structure: Under this type of organisation culture all the activities ofenterprise are divided according to different function. For example: sales, marketing andadvertising department. This type of organisation structure is well for small businessfirms.Divisional Structure: This type of organisation structure is used in large enterprises whohave smaller enterprises in a wide geographical area.Matrix: This type of organisation structure is a combination of functional and divisionalstructure. This type of organisation structure used in multinational companies. This is oneof the complex structure but provide various advantages to the enterprise.Different type of organisation culturePower culture: This culture of organisation says that more powerful a person will moreimportant decision he can take.Role culture: Role culture of enterprise believes that every person in the enterprise play adifferent role to achieve the organisation objectives.
