Problem domain- It has been evaluated that in recent times robots are highly used in different
sector. It has improved social life of people. Moreover, it has provided ease in doing task and
saving time and energy. Besides this, robots have enabled in managing activities in effective
way. In similar way, they can be used in health care to provide high quality services in less time.
So, this project will reflect on how robots will be useful in saving time and resources in health
care sector. Furthermore, they can help in maintaining quality of care and effective
communication.
Purpose and justification- the main purpose is to analyse use of robots in health care and how
they will help in reducing complexity. Also, to gain insight about different types of robotic
applications and how it will change way of delivering services.

Conceptual or Theoretical Framework
The emerging of new technology and robotics has affected directly on major areas. In many
areas different tasks are been performed by robots. For example – in auto mobile sector
designing and assembling of vehicles is been done by robots. It has saved time and improved
accuracy in completing this operation. Also, the integration of AI with robotics have made it
easy to control and regulate technology.
Current trends in technology
The study will investigate about current and advance technology which is been used in
health care sector. Also, it will analyse how robots are been used in other sectors and companies.

As elucidated by Riek, 2017 , development of robots have transformed the world and
business operations. It has provided a platform for companies to use them in doing complex task.
The use of robots has been beneficial to a great extent. It has enabled in reducing time and
resources in completing tasks. Moreover, in certain sectors like hospitality robots are been used
in delivering services. So, it has reduced the manual work and attaining goals and objectives in
less time. Also, it has been identified that there is a great positive impact of robots in health care.
From doing routine tasks to surgeries and medical procedures, robots have reduced cost of health
services.
Different types of use of robotics in health care
The study will explore about different types of robotics that are been used in health care
and how it has benefited in delivering services.
According to Stahl & Coeckelbergh, 2016, there is wide range of medical robotics in
health care. For instance, exoskeletons help paralysed people to walk. Also, it is used in
rehabilitation of stroke or spinal cord injuries. Another field is pharmabotics, it is related to
processing information accurately and precisely in medicine. In recent times, a new field has
emerged that is companion robots. They are been developed to serve as social partner to lonely
people. Besides this, they are used in dealing with mentally disabled people. Robotic assistance
refers to providing support to people regarding health issues. This has helped in eliminating risk
of disease.
Three main drivers of robots
The scholar will examine three drivers of robotics in health care sector which are as follows :-
 The continual miniaturization of electronics which means that smarter, smaller circuit
boards can be used in a range of robots.
 Emerging of generic robotic technologies which is opening the market to start ups and
health care entrepreneurs who have new prototypes.
 The use of robots in non-medical areas likes mining, emergency response, natural disaster
response, etc. is opening the market to innovative, cheaper iterations of robotic
technology which will fuel other medical uses
Advantages of using robots
Also, in study it will be examined about advantages of using robots in health care. It will be
discussed that how they will provide care to people.

Moreover, in view of Santoni de Sio & van Wynsberghe, 2016, in the future robots will be
used in every area. It will help humans in saving time and resources. Alongside it, manual work
will become automated. Thus, it will take less time to perform medical processes. All the
activities will be performed by robots accurately and effectively. () stated that health care
robotics concept will rise to a great extent. It will help doctors in assisting surgery and medical
treatment. Apart from this, it will mainly benefit disabled people in health care. The virtual
technology will be used to provide social and cognitive support to people. Robots will act like
friends to disabled people.
Impact on price of health care services
At last the impact of using robots in health care sector will be evaluated.
On contrary Van Wynsberghe, 2016, use of robots will increase cost of health care. This
is because implementation of new technology will be very costly for hospitals. Moreover, in
order to monitor robots it requires high skills and knowledge. Also, there is no specific
framework or legislation that defines what policies and guidelines has to be followed. Therefore,
it becomes difficult to use robots in health care.
Methodology
Analysis of sources of information- In report end notes will be included wherever it is required.
In addition to it, references will be done from where data is gathered. Also, only APA style
referencing will be included in report.
Research method-
Research method is considered as selecting specific methods gathering information and
performing analysis. It can be defined as a general procedure where researchers have to answer
the questions. There are two research methods that are qualitative and quantitative. For present
report, scholar will use qualitative method. This will enable in gathering theoretical knowledge
about use of robots in other sector and how it can beneficial for health care sector.
Data collection or systems design methods
Data collection- it is process of collecting data from authentic and reliable sources. Generally,
there are two types of data collection methods such as primary and secondary. In context to
present study, researcher will use secondary method to collect data. For this journals articles, etc.
related to topic will be studied and analyzed.
Ethical Issues

There are several ethics that will be followed by researcher. Here, first of all each team
member will be treated with respect and their dignity is maintained. Also, the privacy and
confidentiality of data and information will be maintained. The data will be stored in database
and also it will not be shared with any other parties or person.

The study will be conducted by following certain rules and regulation of government or
workplace where it will be conducted.
