INTRODUCTION Many business corporations searches for the job specific skills in the potentialworkers however in a hidden manner they also search for general skills popularly known asemployability skills, which plays a crucial role in making sure one’s employment. It supportsan individual to stay in a job for longer period of time and vying for promotions. Thus, it canbe said that employability skills are nothing but an ability of employees to survive in aparticular defined area. Each and every individual have varied responsibilities to manage bothpersonal as well as organizational needs (Guzman and Choi, 2013). Even he is also liable tomanage the self-learning for the development. The significance of the possessingemployability skills can be observed from the rising level of competition in the labour marketwhich has allowed the workers all throughout the sector to select potential workers who aremulti-talented, flexible and initiator. Consequently, it can be said that employability skills isnot just limited to narrow boundaries rather it has become more service oriented that hasmade social and information skills progressively more vital. Pertaining to this, the main aim of the current research study is to offer opportunity toacquire honed employability skills being required for effective employment. Further, the casestudy of Travelodge will be considered in the study, which is a private company operating inthe hotel and hospitality industry all across the UK (Travelodge, 2018). The study willexplain ways of developing personal as well as professional skills in the firm and will explorehow communication take place within the firm. Additionally, focus will be made on timemanagement strategies and various theories concerning group development will be discussed.Furthermore, the study also implicates the solutions regarding the issues being faced by theteam members and will offer recommendations for the strategy to unravel the definedproblem in the case. TASK – 1In the current task, applicability of the employability skills and its influence on thecase company i.e. Travelodge and its employees will be discussed. The main aim of our services is to make sure that our customers get homely comfortwhile they stay at the hotel and enjoy finest and memorable experience of their lives and getfascinated by our restaurants which provides finest cuisines (Miller, Biggart and Newton,2013). I am also responsible to comprehend the demands and expectations of the customersand support them in resolving any kind of queries. Thus, my key responsibilities are to offerand ensure flawless, high class, professional and upscale customer services. Furthermore, Iam also equally responsible for interacting with the guests, team coordination and smoothimplementation of welcoming & departure of customers. Along with this, it is obligatory forme to provide direction to my crew members in fulfilling the quality parameters forpromotion of facilities by empathetic communication.
