INTRODUCTION
In this documentation, this assignment review about to the role, responsibilities and
performances of the marketing manager in Travelodge Hotel and their effective efforts towards
completion of their works within the firm effectively. Moreover, this study define about
development of interpersonal and transferable skills which is needed the most in order to proper
development of their issues in more efficient form, furthermore, this assignment refer to some
motivational techniques which can be used for improvement in the quality of the performances
of the business in more effective form. Apart from this, this assignment describe about
understanding of dynamics of working with others in which they can generate some of effective
services in more efficient form. We will explain in this assignment about to the suggestion of
alternative ways to completion of task and achievement of team goals within the industry
sufficiently. Moreover, this study define about to the development in some appropriate strategies
to resolving the problems of labour turnover in Travelodge organisation.

P.1. Develop a set of own responsibilities and performance objectives
As a Marketing manager in Travelodge Hotel I have several kinds of role and
responsibilities within the business which I have experienced by doing job in last few years. Part
of Travelodge Hotel organisation, I need to make some activities at the workplace by which our
marketing team would be able to work properly within the business in order to promote product
and services of Travelodge Hotel effectively (Watson, 2011). Various types of responsibilities
occur in the business while completion of the project within the company efficiently.
Marketing manager responsibilities in Travelodge Hotel as following:
 As marketing manager in the hotel I need to recognise the appropriate markets where I
could make promote our sale and product of the hotel effectively in order to increase
hotel's revenue effectively (McQuaid, Green and Danson, eds., 2013).
 Furnishing quality of hotels product, services and hospitality services effectively in terms
of satisfy our each customer efficiently.
 Making excellence relationship with our loyal customer to make use of our existing
services frequently.
 Proper lead of my marketing in the market in respect to raise the quality provision
potential of the business effectively within the industry.

 I make sure by revenue manager to that all required financial needs are meeting to the
organisation effectively and our marketing efforts making benefits for the company as
well.
Performance objectives of the marketing manager of Travelodge Hotel as following: Customer services: As marketing manager I have obligation to ensure that my hotel
services must be in effective form which generate the environment in which each of our
customer feel more satisfied (Paulrajan, 2011). Our main objectives are furnishing
efficient hospitality services in respect to meet each customer's demand effectively.
 Product quality: Customer prefer to utilisation of quality of product and services in hotel
and travelling industry. As marketing manager in travelling and tourism industry I need
to make sure that our organisation is providing sufficient quality of product towards our
targeted customers in order to accomplishing organisation's goals and objectives
efficiently.
P.2. Evaluate own effectiveness defined objectives
Improvement in services: By establishing appropriate objectives for Travelodge Hotel, it
gives us proper outcomes as I have decided before in the company. According to work with our
effective objectives within the organisation it furnishes me efficient improvement in our hotel
and travelling services in effective manner by adding some innovative techniques within the firm
in more efficient form (Cottrell, 2015). Out objectives enforce us to develop some areas in which
they can generate some issues in more effective form.
Technical changes and profitability: On focusing on the service effectiveness on
Travelodge Hotel business, as marketing manager in hotel and travelling company, I have
identified that some effective technical changes is necessary for the organisation in order to keep
themselves ahead in the complex competitive market in effective form. We need to add some of
effective innovative technological equipments and approaches at the workplace in order to
increase customer satisfaction level and increase revenue generation of the business in efficient
form.
Strategic marketing plan: with the helps of effective objectives of the business, I have
realised that we need to prepare a strategic marketing plan and implement it on our new
marketing strategy in order to raise sales of our hospitality product and services on tour and
travelling sector more effectively (Ryan, ed., 2012). We need to offering our product and

services with existing vouchers so that our existing customers will attract more towards product
and services of the business in more effective form.

A hotel in an organisation which furnish environment to their customers in which they
feel refresh and confident after using hotel services. In case of Travelodge Hotel, as marketing
manager I have observed several things which must be added in the hotel and its travelling
services in order to appropriate development of our product and services and also increment in
profitability of the enterprise efficiently.
Online services: Nowadays, each business using online services approaches in order to
furnishing effective services in easy manner in the industry. In case of Travelodge Hotel, they
need to make improvement in their online services in more effective form in order to improve
their customer's convenience level at high level (Gravells, 2010). Moreover, customer's of the
hotel easily identify their services by utilising online platform. This should be changes in the
hotel by administration the organisation effectively.
Effective customer care: In case of Hotel industry, customers are backbone of the
industry so that Travelodge Hotel need to improvement in its effective customer care services by
which their customers feel more safe and valuable for the organisation, and satisfied as well.
They must be treated well within the hotel in order to listen their expectation towards the
organisation and according to their needs furnish effective services in case of raise revenue.
Carrying out internal audit: Various times, in the hotel industry, it has been seen that
resources are utilising miss-used by their employees and also miss allocated to the departments
because of miscommunication channel in the hotel. Travelodge Hotel need to conduct marketing
audit frequently in order to identify the calculation of utilisation in resources of the business and
improvement them by suggesting appropriate way of utilisation of travelling and hotel resources.
Training and development: Training and development play most essential part in each
organisation in order to make improvement in the services quality of the business effectively. In
case of Travelodge Hotel, top management of the firm, need to conduct effective training and
development program at the workplace in respect to make their employees more familiars with
new technology which can furnish them the values by which they could improve in service
quality of the business sufficiently.

Formulate positive environment: Crating a positive environment by organisational
manager and leader could increase the sales and profitability of the business in more effective
form. Positive work environment encourage the employees to work hard for furnishing travelling
and tourism service in more efficient form in order to motivate their employees and they will
make effort to achievements of organisational goals and objectives in more efficient form.
Eliminate disputes between top management and employee creates positive working culture
within the firm effectively (Haasler, 2013).
Attractive incentive and reward system: As marketing office in Travelodge organisation,
I need to furnish attractive incentive system to their business employees to motive them to work
more hard to completion of each difficult task within the firm more effectively. Each individual
employee within the firm must be given attractive incentives and rewards to completion of
difficult task in travelling sector. The management of Travelodge business furnish prise, gift
cards, restaurant gift certification which boos up their motivation to work efficiently towards
improvement quality of services of the business effectively within the industry.
Recognise achievements: Travelodge organisation must conduct a program in which
their loyal and dedicated employees must be given awards and star performance awards monthly
which make motivate employee to work more hard for the business in effective manner to
improvement in the quality of the services of the business (Riebe and Jackson, 2014). They must
celebrate staff all kinds of meetings and support their weak employees within the firm with
dignity in respect to achievement of their targets in the business. These activities motivate
employees to work hard for completion of each task at the workplace effectively in context of

Communicational problem: While working as marketing manager, I have observed
several kinds of issues at the workplace in which communicational issues are one of the common

problem in Travelodge organisation's travel and tourism services within the organisation
effectively, when I have given some essential instruction to our marketing team while
promotional activities is being done by our team at different-different regions within the firm
effectively (O'Neil, ed., 2014). When I instructed to my team members to complete each of their
task within given time period so that time some team members had not listed me properly and
make delay in completion of their task because of lack of communicational channel for the
organisation in effective manner. We need to use of ICT software package at the workplace in
respect to connect each marketing team member to our marketing manager to aware of their
work in progress in daily basis and furnish appropriate suggestion by using messaging software
of ICT package which make improvement in communicational method of the business in
efficient form.
Management problems: Management issues is a most common factor for Travelodge
travel and tourism service provisions, in case of marking efforts, several kinds of marketing
activities are being by the business in more effective form. Lack of management in our
marketing team create negative impact on the promotional activities of the firm. Numbers of
times, it has been seen that lack of management activities making negative impact on the
advertisement activities of the business and decreasing the sales of the business. Various
exercises is being done in marketing team of Travelodge enterprise, and as marketing manager in
the firm, I need to make effort to proper management of each promotional activities of the
business in order to achievement of market targets of the organisation easily. We need to
evaluate all the activities which is being done by our marketing team and conduct and team
meeting to communicate with each other and improvement in management level of the team
which furnish the value to improvement in the services of the business effectively.

issues our staff are not furnishing appropriate performances towards travel and tourism sector

of the business activities in more effectively (Misra and Mishra, 2011). They can develop
accounting activities, marketing efforts, website designer and communicational tools which can
furnish effective alternation to their employees to make communicate with their superior
management team and marketing manager to sufficient improvement in marketing efforts of the
business effectively. Moreover, the organisation senior manage must conduct team meetings,
develop social skills and negotiation skills in their employees to increase in customer
convenience which make increment in the business performance in effective manner. Some
management issues also occur in the business in effective form. The research team of
Travelodge business need to take research at the workplace in order to identify the appropriate
values of service effectiveness of the business in efficient form. Moreover, the top management
of the company need to set up proper work objectives which must be achieved by the business
employees in effective manner. All staff facing miscommunication problems at the workplace
so that our existing team members are not able to connect with top management in respect to
furnishing effective travel and tourism services within the industry in efficient manner.

Multiple numbers of strategies presented here for effective time management in
Travelodge organisation in order to effectively furnishing their hotels and tourism facilities more
effectively. Time management one of the crucial element for each organisation which must be in
proper form by which an organisation can accomplish their appropriate goals and objectives in
efficient form.
Plan your time: Often the firm professionals need to formulate a proper plan by which
they can achieve each task on time and their all work will be done on time properly (Mishra,
2014). First of all you need to make a proper plan according to the given time scale of your
organisation in order to proper development of the way by which each task of the company can
be completed on time.
The to-do list: You need to identify the criteria by which the most priorities work list
must be done by top management of Travelodge travelling and hotel organisation in order to
proper development of their issues in more efficient form. They need to formulate a strategic list

industry, as manager in Travelodge organisation, I have find out the major problems of the
company which is, the firm is facing high rate of employee turnover from last few years and
which making negative impact on the performances of the business effectively (Belt, Drake, and
Chapman, 2010).
Fact facing: Manger of Travelodge firm need to take research towards the find out the
capacity of the issues within the organisation effectively and find out the fact of employee
turnover issues at the workplace by which I can make the way clear of problem solving.
Idea finding: After that, I will find out the impressive idea which can easily remove the
issues of employment turnover within the firm effectively. Various kinds of issues facing in the
organisation, in case of employee turnover issues, human resources' department of the business
need to conduct a fresh requirement plan by which new talent would hire for the business for
organisational growth efficiently.
Planning and action: Travelodge organisation's HRM professionals need to prepare a
plan of recruitment program within the business in order to remove employment turnover issues
within the organisation effectively (Saunders and Zuzel, 2010). After preparing proper plan
concerning recruitment process of new employees for marketing and various teams of the

Effective strategy is adopted by the business manager in order to execute relevant human

Moreover, currently Travelodge enterprise is facing high employee turnover issues within the
organisation effectively and HRM department of the company require conducting fresh hiring
process at the workplace in order to recruit new talent from the market for various purpose in the
business. The new employees of the organisation will be able resolve each issues of the
organisation in effective form and making more profitability for the business. As manager in
Travelodge firm, I prepare advertisement of recruiting requirement posts in the organisation and
according to them make proper development of their issues in more effective form. Each of the
new employee must follow the all instruction of new recruitment process ad according to them
perform the task at the workplace in order to raise the sale of the business. The new talent would
contribute the business in respect to accomplishing their organisational goals and objectives
effectively (Wickramasinghe and Perera, 2010). Moreover, implementation of this strategy will
must remove the employees turnover of the business effectively.

of marketing team in the organisation in order to proper development of their issues in more
effective form. Moreover, the group dynamic works is more essential for the business in order to
