INTRODUCTIONFormal or informal relation between employees and employer's within workplace isknown as employee relation (Anitha, 2014). Nando's is a fast food chain which originated fromSouth Africa. It is present in around 35 countries with more than 1000 outlets. They arespecialised in Portuguese style chicken with different peri-peri marinades. This report coversvalue and importance of employee relations within organisation at global era. Further, it willoutline employment laws followed by organisation for effective working, various rights, dutiesand obligations of employer and employees. Recommendations related to rights, duties andobligations and analysis of stakeholder and impact of employee relationship on stakeholders isanalysed. Task 1P1. Values and importance of employee relations to Nando's fast food companyEmployee relations means effort of organisation to establish effective relationshipbetween employees and employers. When good relation is maintained between employees theyare treated consistently and fairly. This resolves and prevents different problems occurringwithin Nando's fast food firm in all its outlets. HR strategies are opted by restaurant to ensureeffective employee relations. High value is given to employees within restaurant. Withinrestaurant employees are committed for its success or failure (Baddon and et. al, 2017).Employees are treated as stakeholders who have high power to affect outcomes of organisation,by this they feel valued. Nando's restaurant has ensured that employee relations are build withinevery outlet. They work globally to provide services to their customers. An example can be takento further understand concept of employee relation like management of Nando's restaurantensured that effective equipments are provided to employees so that they can work effectivelyand their health and safety can be considered. This is ensured in every outlet present anywhere.Values or importance of employee relations in respect to restaurant is shown below:Productivity:Strong employee relations is important as it create healthy and pleasant workenvironment as a result of this motivation and morale of employees is enhanced. Manager ofNando's restaurant shares healthy relationship with employees, which helps in managingpositive and happy work environment which boost work productivity of staff members.. Token

of appreciation and rewards which are given to them within workplace make them feel valued.This enhances productivity of employer and employees of restaurant.When restaurant present inone country gets knowledge about certain factor then they share the same instruction with otheroutlet so that they can also enhance their productivity.Communicate effectively:To maintain healthy working environment and effective communication networkmanagement must be open to take suggestions from employees. This boost up employee’smorale of working as they will be free to share any problem (Baddon and et. Al, 2017). This willbuild effective employee relation as they will be open with management and they can share ideaswhich they have. When employees of other culture enter in other outlets then they are madecomfortable and same relations are build with them so that cultural differences or languagebarriers do not occur.Embracing equality:In some organisation’s favouritism may be subconscious. But this is not the case inNando's restaurant. Equality at fast food chain firm is important for managing satisfaction amongemployees of all 35 countries and therefore the company has set and defines rules and policiesfor all staff members which promotes fair and equal work environment (Carter and et. al, 2013).Each outlet of Nando's restaurant have specific rules and rules which enhance productivity andprofitability of restaurant, they are followed by other outlet also. This helps to build effectiverelations among different outlets.Conflict Reduction:When friendly and effective environment is provided to employees then conflicts anddisputes within work environment can be reduced. This means that employees of Nando'srestaurant can concentrate more on their work as their will be less distraction within workplaceand hence productivity can be increased. When positive relation is built between employees thenconflicts will not arise within restaurant and this will provide employees with good workingconditions within every outlet.Set Goals:Manager of Nando's restaurant maintains effective relations with employees, thisprovides them with image of success and ambition. Measured goals are set by manager andemployees sets up individual goals which can be achieved. This will build strong relationship
