Because it helps to develop mutual understanding between employees andemployers as well as it assist to increase productivity of company. Basically employee relationsrefers to, enterprise efforts to maintain relationship between workers and employers. Anorganisation organise activities and functions for employees because which will be provides afair and proper guidelines so they will complete their tasks within proper loyalty (Al-Waqfi andForstenlechner, 2010). Moreover, this report will be discussing about different kind of employeerelation frames also their implications. Additionally, how trade unions are affecting on employeerelations also it will be elaborating in a effective way. In this report, BRITISH AIRWAYS hasbeen chosen as an organisation, so there will defining various negotiation strategies and methodsin the context of selected company as well as will determining actual impacts of strategies. Apartfrom this, this assignment will explaining about, how EU influence on industrial democracy. Inthis light, will analysing actual impacts of human resource management approaches on employeerelations. TASK 1 1.1 Different frames of reference explaining the implications of each of the perspectives For every kind of organisations, employee's working performance and quality playsimportant role because it helps to increase productivity and profitability of firm. Due to,business firms focuses on to develop healthy working environment as well as tries improvehealthy relationship between employees and employers. Because working performance ofworkers are co-related with surrounding and relations. Basically, unhealthy environment oforganisation impacts on company such as increase conflicts, problems, issues, misunderstandingand so more (D'Cruz and Noronha, 2010) . Apart from this, it is necessary for every enterprisesmust be concentrate on it as well as it should be carried out some functions and activities foremployees. So employees and employers can interact with each others as well as they candevelop mutual understanding among them. Additionally, there are two type of employeerelation frames such as Unitary and Pluralistic, it assists to analyse and evaluate employeerelations in a selected organisation. Pluralistic frames helps to develop healthy relationship also aids to create better surrounding incompany, due to employee will perform their tasks in unity. In the context of Unitary, all powers and authorities having only within a one person,who regulate and control their business as per their rules and regulations. Hence, other membersor employees of organisation does not have any rights to take any decisions regarding anysituations (Kazlauskaite Buciuniene and Turauskas, 2011). Therefore, one of the major purposeand objective behind this employee relation frame is to develop mutual understanding as well asmaintain professional relationship between employees employers. With the help of this method,develop coordination and loyalty among workers so they can perform their tasks in appropriatemanner. Another one method is Pluralistic, basically this method based on beliefs due to, whiledeveloping healthy environment in organisation then must be consider norms, rules, values andideas of employees and employers. Therefore, in this method trade unions are plays significantrole because it assists to create coordination and mutual understanding between employer anemployer as well as trade unions are focuses on to take decision with the favour of staff membersof company. Thus, it aids to increase motivation and confidence level of employees due to theywill perform their operations within better quality.1.2 Assess how changes in trade unionism have affected employee relations in the UKFor managing and developing healthy employee relationship in organisation, governmentof UK regulated and enacted some legislations, which have to be followed by every firm ineffective and efficient manner. But in this scenario, rules and regulations of trade union has beenchanged, due to it affects on organisation as well as employee relationship. Hence, trade unionsare also known as institutions, which working for worker's welfare (Bach and Kessler, 2011) .Basically, one of the major objective and aim of trade unions is to provide protection toemployees due to, they will significantly perform their tasks as well as encourage knowledge ofworkers. Also they focuses on to provide monitory and non-monitory services and facilities toemployees. It helps to enhance their confidence and motivation level towards their work also itaids to develop healthy employee relationship in BRITISH AIRWAYS. 2
