Every employee of a certain organization follows a typical professional culture of the
company under the influence of the environment of the company unless and until mergers or
acquisition happens. After this, the work culture of that company changes a lot. The changes are:
Anonymousness: like other employees ICT professionals of a company loses confidence
and get scared by the unknown features of the new culture (Qi and Ming-Xia 2014). This
hampers their performance as a whole.
Quick- changeover: the administrative department of any company tries to adopt the
changes post-merger very fast. This affects the new employees most. They get
uncomfortable.
Changeover: every changes like the change of working hours, work processes, new office
environment affects the employees most. As a whole, every detailed change in the office
due to merger affects the performance of ICT professionals.

ICT professionals find themselves in difficulty in fitting with the new environment post-
merger. In such context, the framework for ethical changeover decision of McDonald’s is quite
relevant. The McDonald framework is described as follows:
Collecting all the relevant data and identify the issue.
Research for a practical and different solution to the issue.
Research for accuracy in the alternative solutions using ethical gradation and
standardization.
Testing over the solutions by implementing them with practical resolutions.
