Abstract
Event management can be explain as the management practices for creation and
development of small or large scale personal. This consist of different types of events such as
festival, conferences, wedding, formal parties, convention and many other. It has been analysed
that event management is one of the major industry of UK and it consist of several practices and
activities which is effective for making an event success and effective. It is essential that event is
planned according to proper process and procedure so that desired objectives could be
successfully attain. In order to make an event successful it is important that objective is correctly
understood as well as timelines are correctly established along with the selecting venue and
budget that is needed to completing all activities of the event in effective and efficient manner.
COVID 19 pandemic has majorly affected the successful functioning of event sector. It has been
analysed that there are different issues and problem occurs in the functioning of event. Because
of Covid 19 there is lockdown and social distancing which lead to cancellation of various
festivals, sports events, exhibitions and several other events. There is high restriction of personal,
professional or corporate events by the government. It is important for this sector to correctly and
effectively deal with these issues of Covid 19 as well as develop effective solutions to enhance
its performance. It has been identified that by developing strong and effective strategies event
management sector will be able to conduct its practices and task in effective and efficient
manner.

studying the brand, identifying the target audience, devising the event concept, planning of the
logistics, coordinating the technical aspects so that actual event could be launched in successful
