INTRODUCTION
Event planning is an act of visioning and determining how event will take place. This
report will discuss about marketing mix of event, this involve different marketing strategies for
event and will involve determination of human resource requirement for organising event.
Followed by this, financial details about expenses of event will also be included and discussed in
report. Concerned with event, it is a Winter Wonderland and this event will only involve college
students to maximum capacity of 190 students. This event will take place at Metro Bar, Luton
Campus and bar has capacity of maximum 200 people and including staff working for event, 200
people will remain present at event. Winter Wonderland event involved decoration and
furnishing and centrepieces that create wondrous experience for those attending party.
Marketing Strategy
Product- product is concerned with offering for the customers or buyers. This involves
determination of what to offer customers and involves determination of features and element of
products and along with overall value to be provided to customers. In this element it is very
important that product is something that is capable in fulfilling needs in requirements of
customers. This event offers Winter Wonderland to those who attend event. Winter Wonderland
is a Christmas themed seasonal event (Jordan et.al. (2019)). In this event a very special
experience will be provided to customers. Experience in this event combines elements of
Christmas and winter together. Features of this event includes special decoration and food that
will fill customers with festive spirit.
Price- price is concerned with monetary value that is paid by buyer of product or service. This
element has a significant impact on purchasing decisions of customer. It is very important that
price is determined considering target customers so that they can pay for the services they are
buying. The event is being organised student and this is why it is very important that price of
attending event can be paid by students. This is why a value based and affordable price will be
determined for all who attend this event. Price for the event will be collected through selling
tickets for the event. This means that those who buy ticket can attend event at Metro bar.
Place- this element of marketing mix is concerned with determination of points where seller and
customers meet each other Bikakis, Kalogeraki & Gunupulos (2018). This element also include
distribution strategy of product or service which means how and where customers will be able to
by product or service. This event it is being sold through ticket and tickets will be available for

purchase on both offline business online medium. This means that offline tickets will be
available to be purchased from event coordinator. Other than this on online platform tickets will
be available to be purchased from website of Metro bar where students will be able to make
online purchase and this will require them to pay online for tickets.
Promotion- promotion is an act of motivating and encouraging target market customers to buy
products or services. In order to promote winter Wonderland different strategies will be adopted
such as promoting event through posters in which posters will be placed in the campus. Along
with this formal and informal social media group of students will also be used for promotion of
event Cheng et.al. (2017, April). This is very important because the event is being held for
students and social media groups will ensure that all students are aware of winter wonderland
event. Other than this website of metro bar will also be used so that students become aware of
event that is being held at Metro bar. Website will provide all important and required information
to students about participating in event. Promotional content will mainly use an attractive picture
of winter Wonderland along with details of place and price of ticket.
Physical evidence
The physical evidence of the Christmas Winter Wonderland event in the college will be the staff
who will participate and the students together will be the evidence of this event. this event will
also goes live on the social media so other people will be aware of this event and they will also
be able to see it on the social media.
Process
The process of the Wonderland winter event will be smooth that will be insured by the event
manager of this project. They will ensure all the activities will go smoothly and all the
equipment’s will be available at the party time. food and beverages will be available within the
party another Christmas related thanks also will be available in the party so students and staff
will be able to enjoy the party.
People
The people of this event will be staff who will ensure all the things that will be buy By the
students an other staff who will be recruited by the project manager that will design whole
campus, all the engineer who are creating the theme will also be available during the work.
School staff will be available at the ground who will open the various stores so these students
who will participate in the winter Wonderland event will able to buy the things and they can
