1Organization is a social gathering which provides an effective platform for the attainingthe corporate objectives through optimum utilization of physical, financial and human resources.Managerial ideology plays a significant role in attaining the set objectives of the company. Thechapter discusses the concept of managerial ideologies in the section to clearly portray theimpact of management on employee performance and contribution in the business (Hatch andCunliffe, 2013). The historical approach of factory system helped in developing a well definedoverview of employee management issues faced by the businesses and approaches adopted bythe businesses for the same. The managerial ideologies in the industrial era focused on attaining maximum outputfrom the employees and for attaining the same management of the company developed a formalsystem for the employees. The evaluation stated that the stated era led the basic foundation offormal working structure in the organizations. The managerial ideologies in the era reflected thatemployees were the organizational resources and were used to attain maximum outcome forbusiness development (Scott and Davis, 2015). Bendix however evaluated that resistance ofemployees and cultural restrictions were the major issues which created a significant resistancefor the staff which submerged the level of expected output. It was evaluated that major issuesfaced by the organizations were related to culture differences and employee resistance. Theseaspects as per the author could be molded by understanding the needs of employees andchanging the managerial perspective to ensure employee motivation. The author thus analyzedthat changing management perspective as per the needs and demands of the employees wouldenhance the employee performance in a significant manner (Watson, 2013). Thislaid an effective and well defined foundation for organizational theory in the business. 2Bureaucratic approach is one of the classic measure adopted by the business unit in orderto create a significant and well defined growth aspects for the business. The stated approachdeveloped a structured aspect to carry out the business operations and attain organizationalgrowth.
