INTRODUCTION
Preparing for success is a process of learning in which students require learning several
new things whatever they have been taught during module (Jones and et.al., 2020). This present
study is going to show importance of communication, academic writing as well as reading skills.
Further, it has also discussed effectiveness of critical analysis skill for becoming successful and
approaching university courses expectations.
Development as learner during module
During business management module I learned different new things that can help me out in
personal as well as in professional development. In the regards of business management module
I can say that I have learned about reading, its meanings, importance and different ways of
reading and importance of symbols in reading. So, in this regard I can say that I learned the
actual meaning of reading such as it is a process that involves word recognition, fluency and
motivation. I also found that it is a complex cognitive process of decoding symbols for knowing
the actual meaning. Languages and symbols plays a vital role in reading as the main aim of
readers or students is to elaborate meaning by interacting with text. I learned that definition of
reading like process of language acquisition and communication can mean us too much as it
helps us in improving reading skills because on the basis of definitions, we shapes our mind and
learn accordingly. Different students take it is different manner and while module and group
discussion I understood that reading is fun and students who take it as a funny and interesting
perspectives are more likely to understand meaning in a timely and in an effective manner
(Hamed, 2018). Some students believe that reading is thinking and how much we read, how
much we gain knowledge and understand meaning whatever we read.
Further, I learned about academic writing as along with reading academic writing also plays an
important role in increasing knowledge and improving learning. For getting successful and for
getting higher grads, these 2 things like reading and academic writing are vital. In this regards, I
learned that it is a clear and concise structured by evidence. For effective academic writing there
is requirement for students of having effective communication skills (Thabet and et.al., 2017).
This oral and written communication skill makes students perfect in academic writing and
reading as well. Communication skills also can help us out in our future in communicating and
exchanging information, understanding actual meanings, providing accurate information and

academic writing and reading skills are directly associated and proportional with each others
(DAMAYANTI, 2019). For becoming successful I found that we are required having critical
analysis and evaluation skills after writing and reading we all need to proof read whatever we
have learned and wrote as it can help us out in reducing errors and completing qualitative
projects. As a learner I developed myself as an effective reader, academic writer and I believe
that both these abilities and skills can help me out in the future in getting employment
opportunities and career development.
Ways of approaching future challenges and expectations of university course
Environment where we live, is full of challenging as factors included in this environment can
change anytime and changes in these factors may affect us in both negative and positive manner.
But ability to adapt situation and ways in tackling problems can make us able to continue our
work without getting hurt and affected in a negative manner. From module I learned importance
of communication, academic writing reading accuracy and clarity skills. So, I can say that with
the help of an effective communication skill I can communicate my behaviour expectations with
others in a clear or accurate manner. It can help me out in understanding situation and getting
appropriate suggestions from others that can protect me against future challenges. For
approaching expectations of university course there is requirement of having some skills like
decision making, critical analysis, problem solving, academic writing and others. University
courses expect us or students to get higher grades and completing difficult tasks and I believe
that for completing difficult tasks there is requirement of having evaluation and critical
analysis skills (Žnidaršiè and Zupan, 2019). This skill helps us out in understanding both
positive and negative aspects and our own abilities that can make us able to approach challenges.

use of better strategies of approaching future challenges and can focus on areas which I need to
improve.
CONCLUSION
From the above study it has been summarized that reading and academic writing skills are key of
success in the future and at academic level. Both these skills along with communication skills
make students able in solving problems, understanding actual meaning and developing learning.
Further, it has shown ways of approaching expectations of university course and future
challenges as well.
