INTRODUCTION
Teamwork can be understand as a collaboration of group effort to obtain a common
objective or to complete a specific task in the most efficient and effective manner. Teamwork is
the backbone of any team. Each and every person in a team has to perform and contribute his
best efforts to achieve a common predefined or organizational goal (Anjirawaroj, S., 2020).
Individual performances are different from group performance and it doesn't calculate in team
efforts. The report is going to prepare on the Lidle Company’s team work which is a German
multinational discount supermarket chain. The Company was introduced in 1973, by Josef
Schwarz. It has its headquartered in Neckarsulm, Germany. The stores of Lidl Company present
in United Kingdom, Croatia, Serbia, United States and Switzerland. This company belongs to the
Schwarz Group; which is also operating in the same retail chain Kaufland.

Current Trends in Retail Industry
The retail industry has become progressively internet driven and digital. Due to Covid-19
pandemic many of the individuals have lost their jobs and many famous retailing stores such as
Lidl Company fading from shopping centers in the whole world (Baraquia, L. G., 2018). At the
same time, online retailing shopping has become more speedily than ever before the pandemic
has impacted the way each and every trend will play an out in 2021. Online shopping for goods
and services is nothing new but the situation augmented the rate at which business owners
exposed e-commerce shops and make customers shop online.
AI increasingly customer-facing across the retail industry:
AI driven big data retailing has been growing for few y. Increasing number of retailers
depend on on the progressive analytics to understand what should be stock in their stores and
determining efficiencies in logistics. Advanced development of technologies are shifting from
back of house to front of house where customer showing initiatives in virtual assistants or chat
boxes. It is a situation where customers are stuck at home and retailers are not able to find new
customers by inviting to walk into their stores more resources will be fixated on growing
customers number with a in marketing outreach. This has been used in making up with their
customers and spending that time on taking part in zoom calls, Facebook, Netflix, passing on
budgets of advertising in an appropriate manner. Values have been adding in both offline stores
and via e commerce apps through AI enhanced voice recognition technology.

This trend does not focus on online or offline shopping. This focuses on direct purchase
from manufacturers through advertising, influencers or TV shows. Retailers involves and
encourages influencers and bloggers to make profit by sharing associated links and advertise via
placement of product. This trend has majorly encouraged by megastar Kim Kardashian. Another
