Introduction
The global events can be termed as the event that exists for the pre-defined time duration
and also have a global reach. The big international events require the larger public investments
along with impacting the population and built environment. It is organised for different reasons
the one is to attract large number of people from foreign countries. The global events also play a
massive role in promoting tourism activities and also encouraging flow of money within the
economy. This report will cover the evaluation of London Fashion Week which was held in UK
and was organised two times in one year. In addition to this, it will also explore the diversity of
global events industry as well as factors that impact its development. Moreover, it will also
analyse the values, legacy and influence of events on environment. It will also assess the macro
environment impact on the industry of global events. Apart from this, the influence its decision
making and organisational behaviour will also described. Furthermore, it will also reflect the
criterial required for successful planning of events.

The event is recognised as critical industry for UK country as it supports in making
positive contribution to the development of economy(Zimbalist, 2020).
. This industry draw attention of large number of people around the world as the number of
events are organised such as sport events, business events and much more. It brings to the
economy the income of around 39.1 billion pounds. The people expenses who takes participation
in events can also be enhanced when comparing to the year 2011. The industry of global event is
included among the top employer lists of UK people which directly contribute to the GDP of
country.
The events support the overall economy of country by enhancing the activities of tourism
and recognition around the world(Wise and Harris, 2019). For example, the London Fashion
Week is recognised as one of the important global event that takes place twice in the same year.
It assists the UK country to provide them a chance in building a great network. It is estimated
that the net income generated from London fashion event is basically around 150 million pounds.

It is recognised as those events that are organised for the objective of attracting large
number of visitors and highlight in media coverage around the world. For instance, one of the
major event is UK sport. These events are basically conducted at international level where public
interests are attracted through major event.
Hallmark event:
This is the type of event which is organised by considering attention on spirit, ethos in
town, city ad region. These type of events are identified through knowing the essence of places
as well as their citizen. It also helps in generating more revenues and formulate strong sense of
local pride.
Mega event:
The mega events are known as bigger events that create stronger impact over the
economy of the country. These type of events generate a sense of competitive bidding for the
person. The examples of it covers Olympic games, FIFA world cup and many more(Delaney and
Madigan, 2021).

Olympics and much more. This event has the capability to draw attention of large number of

event as well as show case event.
