INTRODUCTION
Global Event Industry is the international industry for communication which is
formed for connecting peoples and brand power of the live events (Claar and et.al.,
2018).. . Their multi-disciplinary team formed of fiercely passionate, creative and
innovative events professionals from all over the world with the wide and different
experiences and backgrounds.
The above study includes the examining diversity of global event industry,
including its organization and their structure and role o various types of events in the
society. Evaluating the factors which influenced the development of events industry
world wide. Accessing the impact, value and legacy of number of global events on
environment in which they are operated. The study further carried forward with the
management strategies which are used for supporting responsible event development
for wide range of global events. The report ends with the determination of negative and
positive impacts the macro environment has upon the global event industry which
influence the organizational behaviour and decision-making. With the help of SWOT
analysis examining the specific event and accessing the criteria which is required for the
successful events.

Different types of event
Local or community event- Local events can be defining as those events which are
being organized by the local committee. Like for example alumni events, which are kind
of local event in this various social group can come together and join. In this the primary
audiences are local. These events can be organized in any local area. This can be any
short event like arranging playing activities for children (Mueller and et.al., 2018).
Major events- These can be described as one pf the biggest event. It includes large
number of audiences. These major events also comprises of a lot of investment and
public. Like for example Wimbledon, Olympics and FIFA. It consists of large venue. It
can also consist of chief guest and more public. These major events can be organized
for fun and entertainment. It can attract large number of travelers.

Hallmark event- Hallmark tourist events are major fairs, expositions, cultural and
sporting events of international status which are held on either a regular or a one-off
basis. A primary function of the hallmark event is to provide the host community with an
opportunity to secure high prominence in the tourism market place. It can also attract
large number of travellers (Santos. and et.al., 2019)
Role of various events
Cultural events- These types of events are being organized so that the event organizers
can highlight the culture of various parties. Various communities culture is being
enhanced. In this a huge amount of decoration is being done so that more community
members and society people is being attracted towards them. These type of events can
also be conducted at local or national level. It also requires huge amount of investment
(Nicolaides, 2015)
Sports events- In this type of events various types of sports activities has been
conducted and organized. Like for example cricket, football and many more. These
events can be conducted at local, national and international level. Like for example ICC
has been involved in conducting sport event like Cricket. They attract a huge amount of
tourist. These events are more likeable (SajjadianiKammeyer-Mueller. and
Benson,2019)
Music events- The musical event are those which are being developed for the music
lovers. It can be traditional or western music. There objective is to increase the liking of
musical event. It can make them more likeable (Claar and et.al., 2018)..
Business event- These events are being done for business purpose. This could be done
at the corporate level. It can include business meetings. It make them more likeable
(Santos. and et.al., 2019).

The event industry has an remarkable growth and has contributed to the
generation with leading high amount of income for the country. In 20th century the event
industry have been mainly emerged where people's main perception not depended on
professionals for getting help. With the emergence of globalization and technological
advancement the event industry has got a huge growth globally. With the hike in the
spending and disposable income of consumers more peoples are attracted towards
spending more on luxury experiences(Borisov and et.al., 2019). There is increase in the
customer disposable income year by year which allow the consumer to spend more in
the luxury services and are also receiving that. It has also been noted that the large
amount of money is contributed by this industry to the economy of the country which is
helpful in the growth and development of the country. The huge amount of money is
spend by business events which is $2 trillion to global economy and this directly impacts
the GDP of the country and the GDP has been raised. Every year more and more
participants are attracted towards the events and which is helpful in generating high
amount of revenue for the world. If events are organized then different visitors will visit
the country from across the world and thus they will spend money on different sectors
like booking of flights, booking of hotels, transportations, food, shopping etc., So if
visitors from different countries visit the country then the various currencies entered the
country and high spending is being done by visitors thus the GDP of country will directly
increase. This is how the event industry highly contributes to the economy of the
country.
The event industry will be successful only if it motivates and attracts the large
number of visitors to visit the country and attending the event. There are different
motivational and demand factors of tourist which are understanding values and culture
of different countries. This motivational factors and demand attracts the various culture
events and thus it is helpful for the organization in gaining huge revenues. Some of the
people are highly attracted towards music and are motivated towards understanding
and listening the genres of music from different countries thus this helps in moving them
towards the music events(Claar and et.al., 2018). The event industry has globally

expanded from past decade., along with that they have entered into the new market
with the innovative ideas. Many of the event organization are diversified so served the
new customers effectively. The event industry has created a wide opportunity for the
people worldwide and has developed their presence all over the world globally. Thus
the employment opportunities has been created for local communities and near by
areas(Sajjadiani, Kammeyer-Mueller and Benson, 2019). So hike in the visitors to
country the company need more people to work for them and who can perform different
activities and help in entertaining the visitors. So the events have become major source
of income for the backward class and local community people in the country who can
sell their historic products.

positive impact is that it brings the host city London's international reputation up to a
level It also boost the economy of London. It can also enhance ground water and soil
(Santos. and et.al., 2019).
Negative impact
It creates Cynicism inconveniences and for various people. These supports to increase

money spend here can be spent better for the National Health Services It is also
considered as the lack of strategies in case of the development (Sajjadiani, Kammeyer-
Mueller and Benson, 2019)..

Political – Olympic games can provides a political and enhancing the attractive culture
structure. It also enhances the more security as it able attract the attacks within New
york.
Economical and tourism impact - Within the new york tourist stay a long for a long
and this enhances the revenue of the nation as well the revenue came from the surtout
helps to develop the infrastructure of the nation. But at the same time it increase the
negative impacts also such as the noise pollution. And overcrowding that may also
create the threat of the bomb blast or suicide bombs as nowadays technology becomes
so advance that it creates negative effects as well. Many people think that it provides
the employment options with itself and hence results the reduction of the unemployment
but this is not true as it creates job for those ,who are already employed, so
unemployed people do not get any revenue from these games (Anthony and et.al.,
2015).

Financial perspective -To analysis the project is finished at the provided budget this
perspective conducts a very crucial goal . With the help of the financial measure it
evaluates many changes that are required to change ,as a budget needed more change
when it comes to the finance so it is most crucial factor that can be reviewed while
supporting the events. Sometimes given liquid money is low and clients demands the
events that supposed that more money invested but due to the help of the budget this
problem easily be solved as the event manger first question asked them about their
budget after that they finalized all the things. So budget plays a vital role in the events
finalising.
Customer Perspective -This is considered as the crucial as it is al about the
requirements of the customers and fulfilling them. The needs are as per according to
the customers as the events are
customized according to the requirements f the customers . There are different steps
that are involved within this process such as setup the core card,vision,mission .It also
translates the goals as well as objectives (Mueller and et.al., 2018).

Balance Scorecard (BSC) it is used to translate mission as well as visual action and
models that involves the perspective to evaluate the measurement of the events. The
system connects the dots among the big picture elements ,strategic focus areas and
also the more operational elements .They are Extensively used within the business and
industry ,non-profits organization ,government worldwide (Anthony and et.al., 2015).
Role of the government- Government play a significant role when its comes to about
launching the event. When the huge evens take place then there is a need of the
government permission to organize the events mainly regarding the public property as
this needs their authorization for legalize the events .It becomes vital for the company
to provide their information reading to the events (JNurmakov,2016) . Government also
play a major role within reducing the negative effects of certain factors .Here

due to this more heat causes the dehydration. For such situation government provided

dehydration causes the death of the people so it is very crucial to provide them such
facilities which majorly benefits them from the such environmental conditions (Santos, C

place in EU without settling any additional tax for bringing in the products. This have
affected the event industry to incredible extent(Santos and et.al., 2019) . These

progressions would have the impact in bringing in the different equipments which are
required for the events.
Economic Factor -
The economic factor which impact the event industry very highly and changes
the direction of the business. As the price of fuel has been increased in the UK. The
trips and events tickets have been increased due to rise APD taxes and the fuel prices.
The wide range of people travel by the flight for attending the events across the world
and the costing of travel has been raised thus it bounds the number of people in
travelling to the other country due to the cost factor so the number of visitors are to
decreased.
Social Factor –
The important factors which impacts the event industry is raising the awareness
regarding health among the consumers(Mueller and et.al., 2018). The consumers now a
days becoming more conscious for their health and health diet and so they are
considering fat free and hygienic food for them. This could impact the event industry
directly as consumer will be more conscious about the food and drinks which are served
at the events
Technological Factor -
Technological factor like automation, AR have an huge impact on the event
industry and thus this it is helpful in driving their business positively. Due to wide range
of trade shows in the event which mainly involves the demonstration which is difficult in
gathering the attention of audience. So the augmented reality and virtual reality is
helpful in the event industry for making the event more interactive. Thus artificial
intelligence are highly beneficial in the event industry and can market their message to
the large number of audience effectively (Naaman,2016).
Environmental Factor –
The climate affects the event industry in great way. As the vents are organized in
the outdoor stadiums and thus weather play a major role in that if rain has eventually
occurred it will spoil the event(Naaman, 2016). And thus the people or visitors will not
visit the event due to the bad weather. And plastic is also the global issue which is to

address by the event organizers and as it can harm environment adversely. Thus this
can support the event if plastics are supported by the event industry.
Legal Factor -
Because of the adverse effect of the Brexit on the economy of the country the
GDPR's emergence have been raised and have an significant effect on the event
industry. Thus the transformation is done by the GDPR by which events gathered and
collect the personal data and information of their visitors(Nicolaides, 2015) . So the
data collecting method for the vent industry have been changed and should
implemented to all of the companies in country.

weakness of the Olympic 2012 along with the opportunities and threats which are
associated with that are as follows -

The major strengths of the Olympic 2012 is to allow the athletes to show their
talents and skills at the huge platform and sustain the position in the competition. The
huge media coverage was their which was helpful for the promotion and branding of the
various companies. It also allows the top sportsperson to participate the competition
with discipline.
Weaknesses -
The main weaknesses which are being gained by Olympic 2012 is that there are
various incidents which are related to doping has decreased the accountability of these
sports events among the people(Nurmakov, 2016). And various terrorist attacks in the
country have allow athletes to compromise with their safety.
Opportunities -
As there is wide media coverage there are more than 1 million visitors who visit
the country for attending the event across world so this have an various opportunity for
small businesses in raising their profits.
Threats -

The major threat in the UK is terrorist attack as large number of people visit to
see the events across the world this can harm the wide number of people and so the
number of visitors to the events have gradually decline from last year(Anthony and
et.al., 2015).

various events that are celebrated worldwide people came closer to each other through
the celebration thus it palsy a vital role in spreading happiness in the life of the people.

the world. Also, the sports events that helps the people to learn ,generate the
employment as well s generated the revenue for the nation. Social impacts as well as
social beliefs regarding the public pattern as well as events performances .the events
are affected by the political as well as government policy and stability such as inflation
and interest rates.
