INTRODUCTION
Globalisation is the best process that linked to the local, national and the regional level of
work. That affect the business into more appropriate manner by offering many national or
international opportunities level. Globalisation made connection between social and economic
relationship and networks which organised on a local and national level. Present study will be
based on Globalisation and make the better form of learning results and better goals. Present
study will going to cover the managing task in order to develop the new managing goals.

Background
Globalisation has changed the world and the level of competition that affects the better
decision making approach (Crane and Matten, 2016). It has been emphasized by different
evaluation process that different activities and drivers which affect the national economy. The
main benefits of globalisation is that, it allows business to interact with different activities and
manage the better goals and services in order to meet out the way of national and international
level. There are different drivers of the globalisation that interrelate with each others such as
lower trade barriers, lower transportation cots, lower communication costs, spread technology,
information and communication technology (Charles Jr, Schmidheiny and Watts, 2017).
Aims : “To identifying the impact of globalisation on different functional departments”- A case
study based on Marks & Spencer.
Objectives

failures. Globalisation process can help to keep the better advancement and effective working
targets and better outcomes growth.
Time : Every project has some starting and ending date which shows the project value
and chances to win. Globalisation is the big concept researcher takes time to analyse the external
international market in order to meet out the project aims.
Communication : Communication is very necessary to build-up between the members
who raise queries, new thoughts, etc. this makes the better goals and services in order to meet out
the project goals (Epstein, 2018). Globalisation enhance the scope of communication by huge
operational sources and goals.
Resources : Resources is very necessary to develop the better result outcomes.
Moreover, it will present the act and many new goals to take the better task presented. Present
study will be using data, information, tools and techniques to present the data etc. Globalisation

Research approach : Research approach is the element which express or define the need

There are two kinds of research approach deductive and inductive research approach (Taylor,

based on theories and the end of the research process. On the other hand, deductive approach
basically developing a hypothesis on existing theories. Present study will be taking Inductive
research approach style in order to explore the research options to explore the better relationship

Data Collection : Data Collection is the most essential element of the research which

Primary data has been selected or analysed by two different techniques quantitative and
qualitative. Quantitative data collection method are based on numerical way, which is based on
closed ended questions (Mackey and Gass, 2015). This involves digits and mathematical term to
calculate the accuracy level of response. Some of the methods of quantitative method are mean,
mode, median etc. contrary, qualitative method is totally based on thematic manner form which
presents goals and services.
Secondary data collection method is simple and flexible which has been collected from
existing studies by different researchers from journals, books, online portals etc. This will help to
discover the new learning goals and managing developing results and goals. Present study will
be based on primary research with the help of questionnaire survey tool.
Data Analysis : Data analysis is the best way to interpret the data into best possible
action plan. Data analysis have two methods qualitative and quantitative data analysis tool that
interpret the data into best effective way (Shenkar, Luo, and Chi, 2014). In this process
researcher analysis the data which involves critical analysis interpretation of figures and numbers
that attempts to find rationale behaviour and main findings. On the other hand, quantitative data
analysis is the method or process that defines the better outcomes and make the effective
justification goals and needs. Quantitative method of data analysis is quite complex as compare
to others. Present study will be uses qualitative data analysis method.
Sampling : Sampling is the method or process to select the number of respondents
which going to express better way of research process. It is the specific principle that is used to
select members from the huge number of population. There are two types of method of sampling
probability that is provide opportunity to everyone to get participate in the research (Bratton,
and Gold, 2017) to conduct study. Present study will taking simple random sampling under
which they have taken 20 employees of M&S to get their primary research data.
Ethical consideration : It is the another specific concern of the research that contains

Throughout this whole presentation and goals, it has been found out that impact of
globalisation transformation (Hirst, Thompson and Bromley, 2015). This transformation can
reduce the company shipping cost, technological improvements, trade liberalisation etc.
globalisation is the wide concept that every country adopts for better improvements and trade
liberalisation. So that, present study has exactly based on this opportunity. Present study
presented the finding of employees and their reviews on M&S regarding globalisation (Hair Jr
and et.al., 2015). Maximum findings give favourable reviews which means globalisation actually
been very much necessary for new change. Study has been taken some different research
methods primary and secondary data goals and techniques which influence research outcomes
and growth. Study presented the background and more information about the new developing
though process of globalisation. It will more and less effective in order to meet out the future
sustainability growth and targets. Study concluded impacts and importance of international
market which introducing so many opportunities for company as well as people. Variety of
product and services, variety of technologies, talented employees skills, High competition market
etc (Hair Jr, and et.al., 2015).
Recommendation
M&S can invest on foreign direct investments to get more benefits internationally (Wirtz,
and et.al., 2016). By adoption globalisation company can also take benefits of technology
innovation for better economic development. Besides, globalisation can also empowers

opportunity to invent some more information and level in order to satisfy the needs and goals in
order to meet out the national consumer needs and wants. International business can promote the
new ideas and goals in order to maintaining the better advanced technological development.
Company needs to encourage employees to adopt change and new innovative environment to
cope up with the results and goals (Wheelen and et.al., 2017). overall, company needs to more
focused on different research topics in order to meet out the result outcomes and growth. Beside,
also may help to take research process in more appropriate manner.

P7 Reflective
Throughout this whole study and process, my experiences was very good as being the
part of the research team. I have learned so many new research knowledge and skills to collect
data. That will be much great full for my future objectives. It will be more challenging for me
during taking survey, I have faced some challenges while collecting information. Through I
analysed and identify my own weaknesses and strength. Overall, research helped to learn more
about the impact of globalisation (Cavusgil and et.al., 2014.). I have applied some very good
tools and techniques or some new research methods that will be more helpful and effective for
me to accomplish my future career goals. I have gone through my weaknesses and determine
what I actually needs to performed to get out my weaknesses. Overall, I need to improve my
time management skills and also required to take some classes on conflict management skills as
well.
Present research will help to identify the importance of globalisation on the business
activities or functions.
CONCLUSION
On the basis of above report it has been found out that, globalisation is the big
opportunity for M&S that helps company to reach at international level. It provides different
kinds of other benefits to the company in terms of brand popularity, international growth in the
market, huge profit, advanced technology etc. on the other hand, study also analysed some
conflicts and issues faced by company due to entrants of new companies into the international
market. Overall, study conduct a research and also using some different research techniques
qualitative and quantitative technique to collect the data. However, study also conducted
questionnaire survey with 20 employees of the company to analyse the actual importance and
impacts of globalisation on business function. Besides, study also taken the different use of
primary and secondary research in order to meet out the research aims and objectives.
Overall report will looked up on the topic of globalisation that helps company to take its
market positioning into more upper level.
